In "My account", click on "Forgotten password" and enter a valid e-mail address. You will receive a new password immediately.

If you type www.eofcom.admin.ch into the address bar of a web browser, a window appears with this message:
"Website authorised by an unknown authority. Your browser does not recognise the Certification Authority that issued the site's certificate."

The Certification Authority (CA) of the Federal Administration does not feature in Microsoft's standard list. However, you may add the CA of the Federal Administration to your browser by installing it using the following link: bit.admin.ch/adminpki/.
Or you may choose from the three options proposed: "Accept this certificate permanently", "Accept this certificate temporarily for this session" or "Do not accept this certificate and do not connect to this website".

How do I go about applying for a radio licence via the internet?
First you have to register online. To do this, click on "Account" and select the type of registration (as a private individual or as a business/company). When you have completed registration, go to "Radio licences", where you can apply for the licence.

How long does it take to issue a radio licence?
If your licence application is processed successfully, this will be confirmed to you immediately online. The corresponding licence documents with the pertinent licensing regulations will be posted to you the next working day.

How can I cancel my radio licence?
A licence can be cancelled at the end of the current month. Any excess fees paid will be repaid, so please let us have your bank or postal account details.

How do I go about requesting an individually allocated number on the internet?
This OFCOM service has been replaced by DETEC eGovernment (https://www.uvek.egov.swiss), the central portal for the online government services of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications.
