A popular country pub has reopened to the public after a six-figure refurbishment to revitalise the site. The Duke of Wellington in Hatfield Peverel has been closed for just under a month to undergo major refurbishment work.

The interior and exterior of the pub has undergone a complete revitalisation, featuring contemporary décor additions that inject a fresh and modern atmosphere into the venue. The Greene King pub now offers a more expansive feeling with renovations creating space for an additional 65 people with 50 outside.

The site is now open every day from 10am, featuring an all-new breakfast menu for guests to enjoy. Meanwhile, the pub’s popular food menu of classic dishes remains the same.

There are a variety of items on the kids’ menu for little ones to enjoy. The cherished play area remains, ensuring the kids stay happily entertained.
