WRITTEN IN THE STARS

Get ready because 2020 is going to start off with a bang, not a whimper! In the first two weeks of the New Year, we get a Full Moon eclipse and a super-powerful planetary alignment between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn.

The last time Saturn and Pluto met was in 1982, so if you’re old enough to remember that far back, think about what you learned and how that changed your life. For the history buffs out there though, the last time we had this exact astrological set up of Saturn and Pluto meeting in Capricorn was 1518! So yes, it’s quite rare and makes the start of 2020 interesting, to say the least.

‘BEFORE YOU READ FURTHER, KNOW THAT 2020 IS NOTHING TO FEAR’

Before you read further, know that 2020 is nothing to fear. Saturn is the lord of karma and is about lessons, but if you’re living a good life, working hard and being reason, there is no reason to be worried.

Meanwhile, Pluto is the planet that gets rid of the dead wood from our lives, so unless you’re clinging on for dear life to something you need to release, again, there is nothing to be scared about.

The good news is that Jupiter, the planet of good luck and good times, is hot on the heels of Saturn and Pluto, smoothing out what might feel ruffled in 2020.

The eclipses of 2020

Eclipses are when the universe changes gears and they bring the changes we need to have. Eclipses are like karmic points on a horoscope. You could say that eclipses open and close portals, effectively representing a moment in time when we can jump from one life to another. So where do you want to jump this year?

‘So where do you want to jump this year?’

In 2020 we get six eclipses, one less than the maximum possible.
