The Divine Art of Doodlebugging

Imagine walking across your land with a forked branch from a willow or apple tree in hand when suddenly the branch is all but whipped out of your clutches. By doodlebugging, divining or dowsing, in the tradition of our grandparents and great-grandparents, you have discovered a supply of fresh, abundant potable water—the location of your well.

It has taken me a lifetime to become a dowser/diviner, but it’s something I have always been. Sound odd? Let me explain. We do not become dowsers. Inherently, we are dowsers.
