101 HOT BOD secrets

1 Work out on the reg

The gym not really your jam? Try doing a little bit regularly and you’ll find it becomes a habit you’re happy to keep going. “It’s important to break a sweat every day,” says Brazilian super-babe Alessandra Ambrosio. “I love the way Pilates makes me feel long and lean.”

2 Weigh it up

Aussie mum-of-two Naomi Watts isn’t afraid of pumping iron to get the fit figure she loves. “As you get older, you have to work harder to keep muscle tone, so that’s why I do strength training with weights,” she says.

3 Fresh is best

Take care of your body, as well as the environment, by going for all-natural nutrition. “With eating, my number one thing is trying to buy food that doesn’t come in packaging,” says Anne Hathaway. “Generally speaking, I’m pretty low-key about all that stuff. The balancing is important to me.”

4 Exhilarate your exercise

Model Josephine Skriver loves fitness so much that she has a dedicated YouTube channel with bestie Jasmine Tookes, but it all boils down to one simple motto. “The best advice I can give is to make sure that it’s fun,” Josephine says. “Working out doesn’t have to be lifting weights or spinning – it can be Zumba dancing, swimming or hiking.”

5 Fast brekky hack

Busy Leighton Meester is the queen of healthy eating on the run. “For breakfast, I keep all the stuff for my morning smoothie in the freezer in resealable bags, so it’s pretty much all measured off – a lot of kale, spinach and collard greens,” she reveals.

6 No train, no gain

No surprises here, but our fave fit girl Elsa Pataky swears by regular workout sessions to make her feel good and look even better. “I can’t be without training for more than two weeks – I just get really nervous and my energy starts to go down,” the Spanish actress reveals.

7 Citrus crush

Update your tired old water bottle by adding a squeeze of lemon for max hydration, says Olivia Munn. “The more water you drink, it just speeds up your metabolism, helps flush everything out,” the actress says. “And if you put lemon in your water, it’s really great to help you drain a lot of things out.”

8 Egg-cellent advice

“I usually start my day with eggs,” explains mum-of-two Eva Mendes. “I think they’re like magic – you can do so much with them. I mostly keep it simple and have scrambled eggs.”

9 Make your meals work for you

Who says three square meals work for everyone? Defs not Halle Berry. “My diet is geared towards managing my diabetes, so I try to eat four small meals a day,” she says. “I like to feel strong.”

10 Top of the class

If you’ve got the exercise attention span of a goldfish, Dua Lipa’s trick of signing up for a class subscription pass is your summer saviour. “When I’m touring, I use ClassPass,” explains the singer.
