We all work long and hard recording our family history, gleaning every last clue from the archives and digitised records. Yet perhaps we should be careful not to miss the treasure that’s closer to home. Writing or recording our family story is such an important part of our endeavour, to help remember those who’ve gone before us, that it’s well worth dedicating a bit of our time to.
