Charges against Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins could be dismissed if a jury acquits his alleged co-conspirator before Jenkins goes to trial, federal prosecutors said in a letter to a judge on Thursday.
The attorney for machine gun business owner Robert Krop wants Jenkins to go to trial first, the letter said.
