The ambassador of Indonesia to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Sunaryo Kartadinata passed away in Tashkent on 13 June at the age of 74, the embassy said. He served as head of the diplomatic mission since January 2019.
The foreign minister of Uzbekistan Bahtiyor Saidov in his condolences said: “Ambassador Kartadinata was an outstanding and experienced diplomat who worked tirelessly for his homeland and represented Indonesia’s interests with great professionalism and dedication. His contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between our countries is invaluable”.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, we express our sincere condolences to the family and close ones of the Ambassador and all our Indonesian friends,” he added.
