Qatar Airways launches regular flights to Uzbekistan
Qatar Airways has launched regular flights from Doha to Tashkent. The flights will be operated on Airbus A320 airplanes four times a week. In the future, the company plans to increase flight frequency and launch flights to Bukhara and Samarkand.
Uzbekistan and Qatar sign 15 documents to boost cooperation
During a meeting with the Emir of Qatar in Samarkand, President Mirziyoyev said that the two countries would develop a “comprehensive partnership” in various fields. The leaders also agreed to increase the trade volume between their countries. They signed 15 documents to enhance their cooperation.
Uzbekistan introduces visa-free travel for Qatari citizens
Uzbekistan introduced a 30-day visa-free regime for Qatari citizens. The visa exemption was announced on the same day as the arrival of Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, in Uzbekistan with a state visit.
