Top Ten Books You've Read with the Classics Club
Hi everyone! I'd love to know which ten books (or fewer if you're new with us) you've loved the most so far as a participant of The Classics Club. Please do not vote unless you are officially a member of that group. The goal is to get a great list going to show the specific favorites of our club. :)
• If you don't have ten favorites yet, vote for fewer.
• If your top ten has changed, CHANGE YOUR VOTE. (See the right of this screen under "my votes." Just hit the x to remove your vote, & select a different title.) ;-)
• If you don't have ten favorites yet, that's totally fine. Vote for a smaller number.
• If you want to vote for eleven instead of ten, legitimately no one will care. Or if they do, it won't matter, because it's JUST FOR FUN. 😊
Directions: If one of the books on the group list below is one you already want to vote for (meaning someone else has already voted for it), you just hit the "vote for this book" button directly below the title of that book. That will push the book up higher on the group list -- meaning it will increase its rank in competition with the other books.
If the book you want to vote for is not on the list yet, you go to "add books to this list," & search for a title with "search my books." (This will appear directly below "add books to this list" once you have clicked "add books to this list.") Once you add the book, it has been voted for. No need to do anything further.
FUN FACT: If you click on the image of a voter at the bottom of the full list, you can see the books they voted for, & there will be a link on that page to their review if they wrote one. If you look to the right of the "vote for this book" button on a particular title already included on this list, there's a little link to see which clubbers voted for that book. ❤️
If you want to add a little explanation for your votes (see an example), ONCE YOU HAVE VOTED & are again on the main screen where these directions are visible, scroll down just a couple inches & move your lovely eyes to the right of the screen. You'll see "my votes" and the ten (or whatever) books you have listed. You can type in little notes there about your book picks. No need to save: it will do that automatically. (This is assuming you're on a desktop. I have no idea what it looks like on a phone or such. Every human for himself once you go all technical.)
An observation: As of 7:56a Eastern Standard time on 5/27/21, no one has voted for Moby-Dick. #eyesMelville #raiseseyebrow #blamestheanatomysection #yourambleson
