    Sawyer Yards presents "Breath Work", a new sculptural installation by Houston artist Caz Scott at the Sawyer Yards Art Alley. "Breath Work" is a single artwork in three segments that represents the process of emotional regulation. The piece was produced using digital design techniques, machine-aided construction, hand painting, and assemblage. Join the artist for a public reception celebrating the unveiling of the sculpture from 5:30 - 7:30 pm on Friday, October 11. The event will feature a DJ, and a performance by Scott that also explores ideas of breath work and physiological regulatory processes.

    "Resilience", a new installation by Michelle Vo at the TANK Space at Spring Street Studios, explores social connections, focusing on the artist’s relationship with her grandmother and the shared human experience of death. Making use of the TANK's vitrine, the installation features a mirrored infinity box within an arched stained glass mosaic, accompanied by a lotus-motif stained glass mosaic panel.
