Pete Davidson was supposed to embark on an out-of-this-world adventure. The "Saturday Night Live" star was invited to be on Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin space shuttle, New Shepard, alongside five other people, the company revealed on March 14. This mission is Blue Origin's 20th in total and fourth flight with humans.
However, on Thursday, Blue Origin announced that the flight set to take off on March 23 was moved to March 29. "Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the Ns-20 crew on this mission," the company wrote. "We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days." There was no additional information shared about why the new date does not work for Davidson, but perhaps it's due to filming his new horror film, "The Home."
During Davidson's trip to space, he was supposed to bring postcards past the stratosphere and back as part of the Club For the Future foundation.

Updated with delay news: Blue Origin said Thursday night that it has delayed the launch of its 20th mission, which was scheduled to take place March 23. The shift, the company said, means SNL‘s Pete Davidson “is no longer able to join the Ns-20 crew on this mission.”
No reason was immediately given for him being left off the roster of six passengers, who earlier in the week were announced as having seats on the flight on New Shepard, which had previously taken fellow entertainers William Shatner and Michael Strahan to space. Passengers on the commercial space flight reach an altitude of about 65 miles, with travelers experiencing four minutes of weightlessness before descending.
The new Ns-20 launch date is Tuesday, March 29, when it will be the fourth to include a human crew. The Jeff Bezos-run space company said a sixth crew member will be selected in the coming days.

"Lucky Brown" (left) with his friend of many years, Douglas Dunning.
By Todd Garbarini
Film producer, director, and sometime actor Ewing Miles Brown, who was known affectionately to legions of performers and crew members in the industry as “Lucky” Brown, passed away from respiratory failure on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the age of 97 according to his personal friend of forty years, actor and film historian Douglas Dunning.
After making his acting debut in bit parts in the Our Gang shorts (which were later titled The Little Rascals for syndication), Mr. Brown followed up with a stint as the head editor at Emperor Films and was personally recruited by film producer and movie theater owner Robert L. Lippert to head up production. Dissatisfied with working for others, Lucky branched out on his own in the late 1950’s and started his own motion picture film company called Movie Tech Studios which he built from the ground up.

Steve Martin has been making people laugh so hard for so long that some — especially younger audiences — might not fully appreciate just how pure and fresh his early comic work was. Before the Oscars, before Father of the Bride, before Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, even before The Jerk, Martin was a total force of nature whose main platform was television, beginning with writing for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. In his wild and crazy prime, an appearance by Martin on Johnny Carson or other primetime showcase was insane, yet so carefully crafted. The wife of former president, Gerald Ford (who also died at age 93) “pressed for abortion rights and the Equal Rights Amendment”. She also fought breast cancer and suffered from severe arthritis, all while battling addictions of her own.
