John (or Johnny ) Kazian was an American stunt-person of Armenian descent, born in Philadelphia on 19 May 1933 and who died on April 23 2015. He attended North East High School and studied engineering at Temple University but from teen-age worked in circuses as a trapeze artist. Following service in the Korean War he broke an arm which prevented his resuming trapeze work. Instead he became a stunt man, performing feats and motor cycles but particularly wing-walking, doing all Robert Redford's stunts in 'The Great Waldo Pepper'.
