Andrew Hunter Sherman was born in NYC but grew up In Munster Indiana.
His father Richard was a theater critic for the Hammond Times and took
Andrew to a lot of great theater in Chicago while he was growing up.
Andrew studied at The Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University,
Columbia College, the famed Second City, and even with Del Close in the
early days of Improv Olympic. At 21, Andrew ventured out to Los Angeles
where he befriended Andy Dick. The 2 formed the band and toured the states. They made appearances on
The Howard Stern Show, Late Night with Craig Kilborne, Donny and Marie,
and even played pre-riots at Woodstock '99. Andrew also fronted his own
band "The Andrew Sherman Vehicle" playing the Los Angeles club scene
for many years and contributing to many soundtracks. Sherman made a 2
year excursion in Austin where he played a role in the award winning
movie "Strings" and a part on "Friday Night Lights."
