Greg Nicolett

- Sound Department
Greg's journey as a composer initially focused on art films and indie projects such as HBO's "Muted," the Showtime mobster film "Chicago Overcoat," and the Sundance short "Above & Beneath." His trajectory changed after collaborating with Rob Cantor on a video called "Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf." 80 million views later, Greg has become a composer known for his ability to combine cinematic orchestral textures with unexpected twists - perfect for the limitless possibilities of animation.
Greg has worked on 5 animated series including Disney's' "Goldie and Bear," "T.O.T.S.", "Puppy Dog Pals" and the upcoming series "Pupstruction." He regularly works with Rob as a producer and orchestrator on "The Ghost and Molly McGee" and "Robogobo."
Greg continues to work in live action film, and recently produced and scored the period biopic "The Lady Edison." His experimental found percussion and free jazz score for the Patton Oswalt short film "Adams" won him best score at AFI's Jelly Film Festival in 2019. Greg's also written scores for video games, his latest of which, "Potionomics," has earned nominations from the Hollywood Music and Media awards and the Game Audio Network Guild alongside AAA titles such as God of War and Assassins Creed.
Originally from CT, and after a stint as a member of Chicago's punk-rock marching band Mucca Pazza, Greg now lives in Los Angeles with his newly born son, Julian, and wife Jessica.
