I left school at age 16 to join the army, after leaving I drifted from job to job never staying longer than a few months
until I started work at Handman & Collis as a parts van driver.
While there I attended night school and got my City & Guild's in Light vehicle Motor Mechanics, I left 6 years later
to start my own workshop/scrapyard in Shepherds Bush. This enterprise lasted a year until there was a worldwide crash in
scrap metal and I was forced to close. I turned my skills to driving London buses and also as a services controller for TFL
but once again found this was not for me and left. I then started at Studio Workshops in Pinewood studios as a driver of
minibuses, standby & facility vehicles in 1998 and in 2002 I started up on my own as a freelance driver, this built into a
minibus business supplying the film industry with a minibus service.
