Michael is an actor, fight choreographer, an award winning action director and life long martial artist. He has played the lead in three feature films. He was the lead actor of Van Helsing in "Wrath of Van Helsing", a stoic Demon Hunter who is driven by the grief of his deceased wife and his estranged son. Throughout the movie he did his own stunts and choreographed all the fight sequences. He also played the lead character Carl in the cult Horror "Easter Bunny Massacre". Carl is a junior Doctor who is struggling with the guilt of his past infidelity and covering up the death of his friend. Again in the movie he did my own stunts and choreographed all the fight sequences for the Director. This year in June he wrapped on "Trophy Wife" a feature film where he played the lead villain Frank, a controlling abusive husband, bound by grief, with a dark secret. In this film he worked with the Director, to train the lead actress for her short fight sequences. He has a lot of experience in stunts as well as acting. Recently he was a stunt performer alongside Bollywood superstar Tiger Shroff on "Heropanti 2". He has also worked as Fight Choreographer & Action Director on a number of feature films with Proportion Productions. Including the Lionsgate Entertainment film "The Gardener" starring action legend Gary Daniels and Robert Bronzi. He is not only well versed in action, but can also bring a lighter comedic style to his acting as you can see on the short scene "Cops" on his Spotlight profile. He started his career playing a Londinium Fighter on Guy Ritchie's 'King Arthur: Legend of The Sword' and is a life-long martial artist. He started martial arts in 1998 in kickboxing and quickly became the youngest black belt in my school's history at the age of 18. He has won amateur competitions in Muay Thai, Japanese Jiu Jitsu and Sport Karate. He's also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue belt under Dickie Martin of Carlson Gracie. Currently, he studies Hapkido, the Korean military martial art (that was made famous by Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Bruce Lee) under Master Daeman Sung (7th Dan Hapkido, former Korean Special Forces as a military intelligence officer). In addition to his acting work, he studied Writing & Directing at London Film School and is the founder of Lost Boys Films, a film production company that specializes in martial arts action cinema and cinematic commercials.
