- TriviaThe easiest part of the shoot for Cary Grant and Constance Bennett was the many special effects scenes, which only required them to record their lines while special effects artists made the various items they moved, from fountain pens to a pair of frilly lace panties, appear to move on their own.
- GoofsIn the Sea Breeze Hotel Lobby, Topper has a chair follow behind him, forcing him to sit whenever he stops walking. The second time it happens, Roland Young (aka, Topper) anticipates it a good second before the chair contacts the back of his legs. This implies that Young was sitting without certainty the stalking chair was behind him.

Ghosts in purgatory try to save souls by corrupting prudish banker.
Hysterical movie, great characters, and watch for ghosts carrying Roland Young through lobby of hotel. Plenty of social commentary -- totally politically incorrect. My all-time favorite comedy.
