However, the cigarette has miraculously switched to his left hand.
When Dr. Harvey states that he must go; Dolly sets her teacup on the table. However in the next shot when Harvey stands up and says goodbye; she is in the process of placing the teacup on the table and he also shakes her right hand.
When Laura buys a brandy for herself late in the film, she hands over a single coin, which the girl throws into the register without giving change. Later, it is seen that she rang up 10d, the price stated earlier in the film for the same drink. There was no 10d coin.

Near the beginning of the film, Laura's husband refers to a Symphony concert he once took her to. Later, Laura tells Alec that her husband is not musical. Obviously, she meant that he played no instruments, not that he did not enjoy music.
