When the gangsters are watching the polo match on TV, Lukie Luzette (Ted de Corsia) is wearing a two-piece suit. When the shot changes mid-scene, he is in a three-piece suit.
When Eve offers to pay Jose to stop seeing her sister, she opens her desk drawer and takes out her cheque book. When Jose refuses, she throws the cheque book back in the drawer, then stands up. The drawer is then seen to be closed without Eve closing it.
Throughout the movie Mel Blanc's character is referred to as Julio, but in the cast credits at the end of the film his name is Pancho. Pancho, in fact, is another character, a stablehand who has only a line or two.
In the final polo match, whenever Jack Spratt (Red Skelton) is in closeup, it's clear that the background action is a projection.
During the polo game at the end of the film, tire tracks from the camera car can be seen on the field right beside the players on horseback.
