Billie Eilish is just going with the flow of life — even if it might hurt in the end. On Friday, the musician released the video for “Birds of a Feather,” which watches the singer calmly dragged through an office building as she sings about her overtaking feelings.
The Aidan Zamiri-directed video opens with Eilish singing along to the track before her arms start jerking around as if she were a puppet tied to invisible strings.

While Finneas and Billie Eilish will always be siblings, they may eventually not always be producing music together.
During a recent interview with Guitar.com, Finneas said he’s been letting go of the reins some when it comes to music production for Eilish and helping her learn how to produce on her own. He previously produced the “Birds of a Feather” singer’s first three albums.
“I’ve been setting up Billie’s recording studio for her so she can do home production without me, because she’s very good at it!” the “Till Forever Falls Apart” artist said. “And it’s funny, I’ve been giving her, like, the bare minimum of stuff, just so that she learns it all.”
While Finneas has upgraded to a more professional gear setup now, compared to his early production days, he knows it’s better to start with simple equipment.

The VMAs returned to New York this year to celebrate this year's biggest music stars in the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. Megan Thee Stallion did an amazing job hosting the Awards and delivering a show-stopping performance. Some of the biggest artists also got to perform: Chappell Roan made her awards show debut with a standout performance of her hit "Good Luck, Babe!" and she graced us with her “Roan of Arc” theme – which is a play with “Joan of Arc”. Sabrina Carpenter paid tribute to iconic pop culture blondes in her medley of "Please Please Please," "Taste," and "Espresso". Karol G captivated the audience and got them dancing in her performance of “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido”. Katy Perry made a wonderful performance of some of her most iconic songs. The Award show featured performances by Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Halsey, LL Cool J feat. Public Enemy, Lenny Kravitz feat.

Last year, Billie Eilish came out as queer, even though she didn’t intend to. While the pop star didn’t shy away from acknowledging her attraction for women, it was the song, Lunch, from her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which helped the Grammy winner come to terms with her sexuality.

But even though she had no plans to put her sexuality front and center as Eilish didn’t want to put a label on it, the acclaimed artist was a little dumbfounded that her fans didn’t realize it earlier.

The power of TikTok can singlehandedly make a song, from reviving oldies to turning aspiring artists’ off-the-cuff samples into full-fledged songs. Over the past couple years, that power has proven particularly effective for indie artists who otherwise might struggle to get their stuff heard. Now, we’ve officially had the summer of indies on TikTok: 60% of the platform’s Top 10 hits this summer were independently distributed.
Most of these distributors make up what Music Business Worldwide refers to as “the middle class” of music-making. They’re not The Big Four, but they’re not artists totally DIYing, either. While labels of all sizes generally want to get their tracks on TikTok, these indie labels don’t have the same contentious history with the platform, have quicker turnaround times than the biggies, and many of them have embraced TikTok as the premiere method of advertising new artists and songs.

The chairman of the 2028 Summer Olympics is feeling the heat, and it’s not from the giant torch that just arrived in Los Angeles from Paris.

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards nominations included major recognition for artists like Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Eminem and Ariana Grande. But like every year, the nominations had their batch of unexpected outcomes, from artists missing key nominations to some welcome (and other not-so-welcome) surprises in certain categories.

Strangely, VMA favorite Eilish, who routinely gets significant nominations from the awards show, was relegated to two categories this year: Video of the Year for “Lunch” and Video for Good for “What Was I Made For?” Her absence in other categories is odd considering she’s been easily one of the most popular artists of the last 12 months. As the 2024 Paris Olympics drew to a close, the spotlight shifted to Los Angeles, the host city for the 2028 Summer Games. The City of Angels made its presence felt during the closing ceremony with a star-studded handover celebration featuring some of California’s most iconic musical talents.
The festivities began with Grammy-winning artist H.E.R. performing the U.S. national anthem, setting the stage for the official transfer of host city duties from Paris to Los Angeles. In a pre-recorded segment, action star Tom Cruise executed a daring stunt, leaping from a rooftop to kick off the Olympic flag’s symbolic journey to its new home.
The flag then passed through the hands of several Olympians before reaching Long Beach, where the Red Hot Chili Peppers took center stage. The rock band, synonymous with Southern California’s music scene, energized the crowd with their hit “Can’t Stop.”

The Paris Olympics closing ceremony was full of surprises Sunday and featured performances by Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, H.E.R and Phoenix.
Phoenix, originally from France but now based in the U.S., kicked off the show with their 2009 hit “Lisztomania,” as athletes danced and sang along to the indie classic. Their set featured surprise appearances from French synthwave artist Kavinsky and Belgian singer Angèle for a rendition of “Nightcall,” known from the Drive soundtrack (the original version featured Css singer Lovefoxxx instead of Angèle).
Rapper VannDa joined in for “Funky Squaredance” and fellow French indie icons Air performed their song “Playground Love” with Phoenix. Another surprise was Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, who performed “Tonight,” his collaborative track with the band. The set ended on a sweet note with frontman Thomas Mars jumping off the stage to mingle with the Olympians in the crowd.

Picture an old man and a young boy looking out at a picturesque golden-hued sunset only for it to disappear into blackness. That’s how it feels to watch Lolo and the Kid. A heartwarming tale of an elderly man and his grandson, running around town scamming people. Yes, you read that right. The film’s beginning is slightly rocky because it takes a good amount of time to establish one basic truth. Lolo and Kid use their acting skills to cheat wealthy people in search of a child. I’m not sure this is a very realistic concept, but it definitely works in the very “made for slice-of-life” kind of way. It is not easy to write this review without spoilers; I mean, even the Netflix description gives away the whole film in one simple line, but if you haven’t read that and want to watch a cute movie,...

Kylie Jenner and her friends are being knocked for a dangerous and “cringe” video that they made, then put on social media. It looked like it was all in good fun but some people did not see it that way. So, what was so wrong with it? Keep reading for more details.
Kylie Jenner Knocked For Dangerous & ‘Cringe’ Video
You’re only young once and Kylie Jenner is enjoying her time as a twenty-six-year-old. Though she is often with her two children, Stormi and Aire, she is also very business-minded. That means she is working on various campaigns and brand deals. Plus, she and her family are involved in the reality television world so she has that to tend to, as well. This leaves little time for fun and pleasure but she is finding time. Not only is she dating actor, Timothee Chalamet but she also has some very close friends.

Billie Eilish has set another record!
The Grammy and Oscar winner has become only the third artist to surpass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the audio streamer confirmed to Billboard Saturday. And she did it with just 82 songs in her music catalog.
Eilish follows The Weeknd, who has 107 million monthly listeners, and Taylor Swift, who has 102 million. However, both artists have more than double the songs on Spotify than the “Lunch” singer.
The new milestone also makes Eilish, 22, the youngest artist yet to reach the 100 million monthly listeners mark.
“Spotify has been a part of Billie’s story from the start. Ever since ‘Ocean Eyes,’ she has continuously grown her fan base around the world,” Jeremy Erlich, Spotify’s global head of music, told the outlet. “What she and [brother-collaborator] Finneas have achieved since 2016 is quite remarkable … and all this by the age of 22.”

Kylie Jenner is (shocker) being dragged online for trying to be a “normal” 20-something.
Kylie has a lot to juggle in her day-to-day life when she’s not juggling her four businesses – Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin, Khy, and her venture into the alcohol world, Sprinter Vodka Soda. Booked and busy is the name of the youngest Kar-Jenner sister’s game.
Not to mention her continuing to share her life on The Kardashians.
With a demanding career and the responsibility of raising two children, it’s a wonder how Kylie finds time for herself. But when she does, there’s often a chance she’s recording it.
Recently, Kylie took to Instagram to share a night out on the town with her friends. The content queen also used the outing to show off her videography skills, which included a song by Billie Eilish.
Many of Kylie’s fans enjoyed the song and her creativity.

Billie Eilish is getting candid about why she doesn’t like who she is when she’s in love.
The Grammy and Oscar winner sat down for a recent conversation with Lana Del Rey for Interview magazine, where the latter got straight to the “big” questions about relationships and romance.
“When one of your romantic relationships ends, do you think you leave them with a thousand questions? Or do they leave you with a thousand questions? Or is it split 50-50? Is it more dangerous to fall in love with you? Or is it more dangerous for you to fall in love?” the “Summertime Sadness” singer asked Eilish.
“Big question, Lana,” she quipped in response, adding, “I don’t even know. I think 50-50 is probably accurate. I literally hate who I am so much when I’m in love.”

Billie Eilish’s third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” was released May 17, yet it seems like everyone is still on a high about it. The singer-songwriter’s new record has been a huge commercial success, and it has also managed to captivate critics too, with many hailing it as the best of the year and Eilish’s brightest work yet. The album’s run has just started, but it is already a possible ticket for Eilish to score her second Album of the Year win at the Grammys.
A second win for Eilish would definitely be impressive, but not shocking. Throughout her short career, she has already taken home nine Grammys, six of those being in the general field. In just a few short years, Billie Eilish has demonstrated a keen sense of range that’s far beyond her 22 years, and she’s managed to tap into—and help shape—the cultural zeitgeist more than once, writing anthems for bad guys, Bond, and Barbie. With her exquisite third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, she further cements her status as alt-pop’s happy warrior, keeping one foot in the mainstream and another firmly outside of it.
At just 10 tracks, Hit Me Hard and Soft is both Eilish’s most concise and most ambitious album to date. Throughout, she and her main collaborator, brother Finneas, experiment with song structure and style, examining her celebrity and persona, in ways that are both playful and profound. Packed with multipart songs and self-referential lyrics that reward repeat listens, the album is a world unto itself—and the most fully realized version of Eilish’s sound.

“You don’t wanna know how alone I’ve been,” Billie Eilish sings halfway through her excellent new album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. That sums up the paradox of her life in one line — a shy weirdo kid who became a mega-pop star too fast, a romantic who’s never had the luxury of a private love life, a target for misogyny since her mid-teens. At 22, she’s already rewired the way pop is experienced. But she has the power to get the whole world on her side even...

Netflix has announced that Heartstopper Season 3 will be available on October 3, 2024. A short clip from the new season has also been released.
The Heartstopper Season 3 clip is accompanied by an exclusive snippet of the track “Birds of a Feather” from the upcoming album Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish.
In the new season, Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realize that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges.
As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties, and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go as planned.
From creator and writer Alice Oseman, the eight new episodes are directed by Andy Newbery.

After announcing Hayley Atwell, Jonathan Bailey and Eddie Marsan as new additions to the cast last month, Netflix has set a release date for one of its most popular series.
Heartstopper will return to our screens on 3rd October. Some of you might know that day as Mean Girls Day after the iconic scene in the 2004 film in which Aaron Samuels asks Cady for the date and it just happens to be 3rd October. Now there’s another reason to celebrate the date.
The announcement comes with a short clip from the upcoming season. In it, Charlie (Joe Locke) is practising saying I love you to Nick in front of a mirror before being picked up by him. The clip is just about a minute long but...

It’s been three years since Billie Eilish released a new album, but the wait is over: Hit Me Hard and Soft will arrive May 17.
The album cover features Eilish underwater, barefoot and sinking beneath a white wooden door. The LP spans 10 tracks including “Skinny,” “Birds of a Feather,” and “L’Amour de Ma Vie.” According to the release, Hit Me Hard and Soft is meant to be listened to all the way through — a cohesive body of work. “Not doing singles I wanna give it to you all at once,...

For his debut film, Night Shoot, writer/director/actor Taylor Katsanis mixes things up a little by taking a plot that dates back to the original found footage film Cannibal Holocaust, a group of filmmakers finds they’ve gotten themselves into a situation they may not be able to get out of, and filming it conventionally. With found footage still making good use of the plot in films like The Glenarma Tapes, can Night Shoot compete?
Park Ranger Howard is flipping through the radio stations on his way to work. He probably should have stopped and listened to the newscaster talking about the mass escape of psychiatric patients from a local institution. Instead, he and the two rangers sent to look for...
