- TriviaWhen Dennis Greene, who played Reggie, showed up for shooting, he was told by Martin Lawrence's bouncer that he mustn't look into Lawrence's eyes or talk to him, and Lawrence himself was subsequently nasty to him. It was all a ploy arranged by Director Michael Bay who wanted the boy to be genuinely scared of Lawrence. Greene also wasn't told about the gun that he would be threatened with.
- GoofsDuring the shootout on the freeway, Mike shoots and kills the same Haitian twice.
- Quotes
Marcus Burnett: [while Reggie stands at the front door of the house] You a virgin?
Reggie: Yes.
Marcus Burnett: Good. Keep it that way. Ain't gonna be no fucking tonight.
- Crazy creditsDuring the end credits, Marcus and Mike continue to bicker while laying in the new pool Mike bought for Marcus.
- Alternate versionsTBS and TNT versions are edited for TV where they edited out the violence and much of the profanity are removed or dubbed. Including Mike Lowery's "Y'all bunch of filthy motherlovers".

loud, long, and overproduced
Bad Boys 2 was a little better than I expected, but still it's nothing great. It ran 30 minutes longer than it should have. There were way too many random scenes thrown in for comedy, which weren't very funny, and had nothing to do with the plot, ie... the boy coming to Marcus's house to take his daughter out. I will say the part where Mike and Marcus have there "homo" discussion in the video store was funny and what that black woman said before covering her child's ears. And it did have a cool car chase scene, where the bad guys are launching cars at the cops. But, that lasted too long, and so much of it as well as the other action scenes are too unbelievable. None of the good guys get killed, much less hurt, after dodging cars at high speeds, or driving the yellow hummer through houses and getting shot at. It was just too over the top and overproduced. It makes it mind-numbing to watch because the stunts are so silly.
Not only were the action scenes ridiculous, they had to throw in another unbelievable plot device with Marcus's sister playing an undercover cop working on the same case he and Mike are. And of course, she has to be rescued at the end.
And all the bad language thrown in was just as annoying as Martin Lawerence. I don't know why they think "f" this and "N" that makes a better movie.
FINAL VERDICT: I don't recommend it unless you just want to watch an overly long, ridiculous, music video, action movie.
