While the upcoming Spider-Man 4 has finally found its director, Kevin Feige has reportedly begun to plan Tom Holland’s upcoming appearances in the MCU. The Marvel chief is reportedly working out a deal with Sony Pictures, who partly own the rights to Spider-Man, to get Holland to appear in more MCU titles.

While Marvel Studios has produced Tom Holland’s Spider-Man films, Sony Pictures still owns the rights to the character and related villains. The two studios had struck a deal to allow the character to appear in the MCU. However, now another deal seems to be in the works, with more Holland appearances after Spider-Man 4.

Agatha All Along seems to have stumbled face first into the ground right out of the gates, as fans are fed up with Marvel’s, and by extension Disney’s, bid to use representation as a gimmick, rather than prioritizing a good story with nuanced characters. Fans are so done with what Disney has to offer that even audiences that enjoyed The Acolyte are having a very tough time getting through Agatha All Along.

The Fortnite community is in for the ultimate fight of their lives as they go up against the evil forces of Doctor Victor von Doom in the newest Ltm: The Day of Doom. The developers of Epic Games did not hold back from designing this new game mode and aimed to deliver an immersive experience of what it would be like to be on the front lines fighting against the monarch of Latveria with all the power of the cosmos. Fortunately, players are not alone in this war.

It is up to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to band together once more to stop this threat with newfound allies. With the combined forces of players, there is a strong likelihood that their combined efforts will end Doctor Doom’s reign of tyranny and prevent Doomsday.

There's understandably a lot of excitement to see each member of Marvel's First Family in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but it's The Thing we know many of you really can't wait to see in action.
The Bear and Andor star Ebon Moss-Bachrach will bring the Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing to life in the MCU and talked to Variety about his transformation at the 2024 Emmy Awards yesterday evening.
"I’m doing a lot of motion capture on [‘Fantastic Four’]," the actor said, explaining why he'd ditched his usual stubble. "So for maximum-data facial capture, I have to be clean-shaven."
Confirming that they're roughly six weeks into production, Bachrach confirmed he's only seen "crude renderings" of himself as Ben Grimm and remains eager to check out the finished product.
"They got so many amazing animators working on it, literally hundreds of people working on it," he noted. "We’ve been shooting for about six weeks,...

Kathryn Hahn Would be Down to Appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps - Main Image
Agatha All Along is right around the corner and yet it seems the spinoff won't be Kathryn Hahn's last rodeo in the MCU. The WandaVision star recently expressesd interest in potentially joining the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot.
Kathryn Hahn Would Love to Appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps
While Agatha Harkness' debut was right in the middle of Wanda Maximoff taking over Westview, it looks like WandaVision and the Agatha All Along spinoff won't be the only MCU shows we'll be seeing the harbinger grace the screens.
Comic book fans know that Agatha Harkness's first comic book appearance didn't arrive in Wanda and Vision's lives but in the 1969 Fantastic Four's pages. Would we be able to see her join the First Family roster?

“Patience is a virtue”, they say, and for Marvel fans, it’s practically a superpower. While the cinematic universe has had its fair share of hits and misses—think the underwhelming reception of The Marvels—there remains a flicker of hope. Who could forget the grippingly twisty tales of Loki or the pure fun of Deadpool & Wolverine? But what’s adding a spring to everyone’s step and perhaps even shooting some web-fluid high into the sky? None other than the highly anticipated Fantastic Four: First Steps, slated for a 2025 release.

It’s Pedro Pascal’s world. We are just living in it. The actor is currently riding the huge waves of fame in Tinseltown, and may we say that he deserves every bit of it? Whether it’s Star Wars’ The Mandalorian or The Last of Us’ Joel Miller, Pedro Pascal is the epitome of how to bring different characters to life with absolute perfection. Clearly, the actor has put in the work to reach where he is today.

Searchlight Pictures has released the first official trailer for a creepy-looking new horror movie titled Hold Your Breath, which is premiering on September 12 at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival before skipping theaters and going direct to streaming on Hulu just in time for Halloween
Set in 1930s Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl, Sarah Paulson stars as a woman attempting to protect her children from the region's intense storms, when a seemingly supernatural threat known as the Grey Man arrives to add to their problems.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach - who will play The Thing in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps - is also part of the cast, and appears to be playing a pretty sinister character here.
We haven't heard much about this one, but the trailer is certainly very effective.

A new director is finding himself stuck in Spider-Man’s web: Destin Daniel Cretton has been tapped to helm Marvel’s Spider-Man 4.
The news (via The Hollywood Reporter) demonstrates Marvel head Kevin Feige’s trust in Cretton, as its the fourth Marvel Cinematic Universe project given to the filmmaker. First came Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, one of the studio’s post-Avengers: Endgame high points. Then he was tapped for the Disney+ Wonder Man series starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, which is reportedly in post-production. Cretton was also set to direct Avengers 5 back when it was The Kang Dynasty, but dropped out last November amid Jonathan Major’s assault trial.
Now, Cretton will be given the webs reins to one of the biggest individual franchises in cinema. He takes over for Jon Watts, who directed No Way Home, Far From Home, and Homecoming. Thankfully, Cretton will...

Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby will soon be seen together in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s try at Marvel’s first family in the film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. While their relationship seems absolutely adorable to many, there will always be some who would stoop down to spreading negativity.

It seems The Fantastic Four: First Steps has taken a break from filming, with star Vanessa Kirby attending the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her new film, Ron Howard's Eden, which also stars Ana de Armas and Sydney Sweeney.
The Mission: Impossible actress - who will play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman in the Marvel Studios reboot - was asked for an update on production on the red carpet of the Eden world premiere, and while she didn't share anything particularly exciting, it sounds like things are going very well and "Marvel's First Family" are all getting on as well as one would hope.
“We love each other so much. I’ve been away from them for two days and I miss them," said Kirby. "We’re having such great time together. I’m really hopeful for the movie and Matt Shakman is amazing and Pedro [Pascal] is heavenly.

The expectation is that Marvel Studios will skip the team's origin story in The Fantastic Four: First Steps but just because we pick up with them as established heroes, it doesn't mean we won't get flashbacks.
New intel has surfaced today (via @UnBoxPHD) which suggests the plan is for scenes tom show the moment Marvel's First Family return to Earth, either after transforming aboard their ship or when they touch back down on Earth.
This is a pivotal moment in their history and getting to see it on screen again is an exciting prospect. The fact it's likely to take place in front of their adoring public may add an interesting wrinkle to proceedings, though.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is over halfway through its Multiverse Saga storyline now and the endgame of it all seems clearer than ever. That's not because it's at the halfway point. The franchise had been having more downs than ups until earlier this year when the game-changing release of Deadpool and Wolverine was matched in its awesome response by the announcement that Robert Downey Jr. would return to the franchise as the saga's new major villain, Doctor Doom.
Anything is possible in the multiverse, including replacing your major villain with a new one (as Downey's Doom will now replace Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror), so bringing back the Iron Man star in a new role was doable. And as surprising as it was in many ways, in others it wasn't, because expectations are high for the upcoming two Avengers movies, with fans already expecting to see some major returns in...

Things are getting hairy for Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner in the first teaser trailer for Wolf Man.
Universal Pictures is set to release director Leigh Whannell’s horror feature in theaters Jan. 17, 2025. The film is a reimagining of the classic monster franchise that launched with 1941’s The Wolf Man. The new version centers on a man whose family is hunted by a deadly predator.
“It sounded like an animal,” Abbott says in the trailer. “But I swear to God, it was standing on two feet.”
Later, a young girl asks, “What’s wrong with Daddy?”
Sam Jaeger and Matilda Firth round out the cast. Blumhouse and Motel Movies are behind the film that previously had Ryan Gosling attached as the lead before Abbott took over in the title role.
Jason Blum produces the movie that counts Whannell, Gosling, Ken Kao, Beatriz Sequeira and Melanie Turner as executive producers.

The first movie in James Gunn’s DC Universe is currently slated to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Gunn is one of the shared universe’s overseers, and just to make sure the franchise gets off on the right foot, he has tasked himself to write and direct Superman (formerly Superman: Legacy). Its placement in the middle of July could help its chances of becoming a major summer blockbuster.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled for July 25, 2025, exactly two weeks after Superman. Of course, Marvel Studios would hope to claim a big piece of the superhero movie market share with its Fantastic Four introduction, which could mean encroaching on some of Superman’s ticket sales. Although this is not the first time that two popular comic book properties have tangled up at theatrical venues, this is shaping up to be a particularly high-profile box office bout.

Last month, we got a first look at The Thing on the set of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. A stunt performer was spotted wearing an actual costume as the Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Ben Grimm, leading to speculation the hero might be a primarily practical creation.
Many of you argued that this Thing was being used for reference, something that seemed likely given Ebon Moss-Bachrach's past comments he'd be donning a motion-capture suit like the one worn by Mark Ruffalo in the Avengers movies.
Now, the Andor star has been spotted heading to set in London, England and, yes, he is indeed decked out in a MoCap costume. This should allay any fears about Moss-Bachrach only being on hand for a voice performance in Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot.
"In the past, I think they’ve done a suit. Michael Chiklis wore a suit that apparently was really uncomfortable, and it’s kind of.

Understandably, many actors think twice before joining a franchise as huge as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, even amid seemingly endless talk of "superhero fatigue," some realise that getting into business with Marvel Studios can be a wise career move.
Orange is the New Black and Russian Doll star Natasha Lyonne recently boarded the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in a mystery role. She'll next be seen alongside MCU vet Elizabeth Olsen in Netflix's His Three Daughters, but did the Scarlet Witch actor offer her co-star any advice?

Talking to Total Film, Olsen explained why she didn't find that necessary.
"No, she needs no advice," the WandaVision star admitted. "She can handle her own in the world. She's a very tough broad. She knows she can navigate any situation, I think."

Jon Watts cut his teeth on indie movies like Clown and Cop Car, but his big break came when Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures tapped him to helm 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
He'd later return for Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), with the latter presenting more than its fair share of challenges thanks to the pandemic. Still, the threequel was a massive hit and Watts was announced as the director of The Fantastic Four, only to walk away from the project months later.
Now, the untitled Spider-Man 4 - which is expected to be released between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars - finds itself without a director because Watts will not return to helm the wall-crawler's next adventure.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmaker broke his silence on moving on from the MCU by admitting he's all too aware that following Spider-Man: No Way Home will be near impossible.

While composer Michael Giacchino's theme for The Fantastic Four: First Steps debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con, the full version was played in Los Angeles this past Friday and is nothing short of epic.
It was played as a post-credits scene, of sorts, for the Infinity Saga Concert Experience and this feels like another sign Marvel Studios is going to treat this reboot as one of its biggest and most important movies in the entire Multiverse Saga.
Below is the official description for the Infinity Saga Concert Experience. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has since announced it's going on a worldwide tour; we're still waiting for additional details on that, so stay tuned.
"Gustavo Dudamel conducts the Los Angeles Philharmonic in the global premiere of a new Marvel Studios film concert that will take you on an epic on-screen cinematic journey that covers 23 films in one momentous concert experience.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga received an orchestral treatment in a show that debuted Friday night at the Hollywood Bowl, complete with a “Fantastic Four” post-credits tease. Following fireworks closing out a look back at the MCU films that culminated in “Avengers: Endgame,” composer Michael Giacchino ran out with some music for famed conductor Gustavo Dudamel, asking if they could take just… “four more minutes.”
When Giacchino turned around to exit the stage and watch, the crowd could see his blue sportcoat featured a Fantastic Four logo on the back. The orchestra then debuted the theme to the much-anticipated film, set for release on July 25, 2025.
The score has a jaunty vibe, perhaps a bit reminiscent of the “Ant-Man” score, but with its own retro vibes befitting the rumored 1960s setting of the project. The tune blends a dreamy sense with future-looking heroic optimism, along with elements that echo...

Following yesterday's new photos from the set of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, we finally have the video to go with it.
As well as showcasing the Baxter Building's now-completed Excelsior Launch Pad (blue logo and all), we see a group of extras reacting to the takeoff and landing of a vehicle likely to be added down the line with VFX.
After watching this footage, it's also clear that isn't Reed Richards and Sue Storm watching from afar despite what we were told yesterday. When it comes to the aforementioned vehicle, with these people standing on the Excelsior Launch Pad, it's almost certainly the Fantasticar.
The cast has reportedly been spotted in costume but aside from a leak showcasing The Thing, those images have yet to surface. With filming taking place at Pinewood Studios rather than out in the world, it seems photographers are limited with what they can share.

Production on The Fantastic Four: First Steps is underway in the UK and the closest the paparazzi can get is, well, based on however good the zoom feature on their drones is!
In this latest batch of images, we see a crowd of extras cheering on the Fantasticar as it takes off. While that's not physically there, the photographer heard it mentioned and the actors were once again directed to cheer when it landed.
Interestingly, it's said Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) were watching from afar (and that does look like them). Perhaps the crowd is celebrating The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) given that he frequently pilots the team's ship on the page.
That's the Excelsior Launch Pad everyone is standing on, anyway, and this appears to be yet another sign Marvel's First Family will be treated as beloved celebrities in their reality.

Since Outer Banks first premiered in 2020, Rudy Pankow has played the loveably reckless and unpredictable JJ Maybank, a Pogue with a troubled home life and John B.'s best friend.
In addition to the hit TV treasure-hunting drama, the 27-year-old has appeared in Uncharted and Accidental Texan and was a fan-favorite casting choice to play the Human Torch in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Marvel Studios' long-awaited reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise, titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps, finally arrives in theaters next summer. First announced at Comic-Con in 2019, it's been a long time coming for fans of Marvel's First Family.
An impressive cast has since been assembled for a movie which promises to have major implications for the wider MCU as we head into the next Avengers movies. Production recently began in the UK, bringing an early wave of surprisingly revealing set photos.
By far the biggest talking point so far is, of course, our first look at The Thing. In this feature, we share a new shot of that practical costume (which confirms there is indeed someone wearing the suit) after taking a deep dive into everything else we've spotted in recent weeks.

Before Mia Farrow gave birth to Rosemary's Baby in Roman Polanski's '60s horror classic, the Devil chose another young woman to be the mother of the antichrist.
Paramount+ has released the first trailer for Apartment 7A, which is set to premiere on the streaming service on September 27. Directed by Natalie Erika James from a script by Skylar James and Christian White, the movie adapts elements from the same novel the 1968 original is based on.
Julia Garner (Ozark) stars as a dancer named Terry Gionoffrio (who we met in Rosemary's Baby as a recovering drug addict played by Victoria Vetri) who moves into the infamous Bramford building and finds herself falling under the influence of some very sinister neighbours. Julia Garner’s new home is not quite what she expected in the first trailer for Paramount+’s Rosemary’s Baby prequel feature, Apartment 7A.
The psychological horror movie from director Natalie Erika James hits the streaming service and digital VOD on Sept. 27. The cast includes Dianne Wiest, Kevin McNally, Jim Sturgess, Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
Apartment 7A focuses on Terry Gionoffrio (Garner), an aspiring dancer in New York City who suffers an injury and moves into a luxury apartment building called the Bramford with an affluent couple (Wiest and McNally). After a Broadway producer (Sturgess) offers her a path to fame, Terry has an evening she can’t quite remember and suspects that something evil inhabits her apartment and the building itself.
“There’s something wrong with these people,” Garner says ominously in the trailer that shows her character’s concerns mounting.

After years of longing since the original film series and an unforgettable mishit in between, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally bringing back the Fantastic Four, and fans couldn’t be happier. The principal photography for the same has also reportedly started, and so have the leaks and spoilers. Like Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s most recent leaked look as The Thing.

Taken presumably from the sets of the movie, this exclusively leaked clip has been wreaking havoc on the internet and features the actor preparing the look for his role. And, surprisingly enough, as it seems from the way he is getting prepped for it, the MCU just may not be using the same movie magic for this F4 hero that it does for Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk – at least, not to the same extent.

Are our eyes deceiving us, or are fans of the Fantastic Four finally about to have their patience rewarded? For as much as the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought some of the absolute nerdiest and most heightened concepts to life in live-action, comic book readers of certain other Marvel properties have had to make like that Squidward meme and watch helplessly through a window while others have enjoyed seeing their childhood dreams come true. For every Captain America or Doctor Strange stan that has seen their favorite C-list (or even D-list) superheroes turn into household names over the last 15 years, others haven't quite been so fortunate. That appears set to change in a big way, as Kevin Feige's highly-anticipated take on the First Family is already showing why it's at the top of everyone's wish list.

In 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel, 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, actor Michael Chiklis donned a practical costume to bring The Thing to life on screen.
It worked for the time, but in Josh Trank's 2015 reboot, Jamie Bell's take on the character was realised with visual effects. Now, we have a first look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing!
Shockingly, he too appears to be practical; as of now, we don't know whether there's an actor - presumably Ebon Moss-Bachrach - in the suit or whether this is simply a stand-in meant to serve as a reference for actors and visual effects artists. Based on the few seconds of footage we have, it does look like someone's in there.
This being a stand-in perhaps makes the most sense, though a practical Thing could suit the Marvel Studios reboot's 1960s aesthetic.

Sigourney Weaver is a true legend of the sci-fi genre, having appeared in the likes of Ghostbusters, Avatar, and, of course, the Alien movies, which she led as the iconic Ellen Ripley in the first four films prior to the franchise being revived with Ridley Scott's Prometheus in 2012.
Weaver also played the villain in Netflix's The Defenders series, but her MCU stint was short-lived when her character was killed-off by Elektra.
Fans have often wondered if Weaver might take a trip to the Galaxy Far, Far Away at some point, and earlier this year, the trades reported that she was in talks for a key role in Lucasfilm's The Mandalorian and Grogu.
During an interview with Deadline, Weaver confirmed that she has signed on for the movie and is set to begin shooting very soon.

The Mandalorian and Grogu: Pedro Pascal's Long-Debated Involvement Seemingly Confirmed - Main Image
With upcoming projects for HBO and Marvel, the extent of Pedro Pascal's involvement in The Mandalorian and Grogu flick remains uncertain for fans.
Considering that he was only the voice-over for the Din Djarin for most of The Mandalorian's run, here's what we know about his potential physical involvement in the 2026 MandoVerse flick.
Pedro Pascal's Physical Involvement in The Mandalorian & Grogu More Likely
Pedro Pascal previously confirmed that he only voiced Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian in the entire three seasons of the show, except for his helmetless scenes in seasons 1 and 2.
Although he sported the suit "a significant amount" of times, the majority of Din's screentime wasn't Pascal himself.

Wolf Man: First Promo Poster For Leigh Whannell's Reboot Reveals Official Logo & A Chilling Location
"Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and Autumn moon is bright."
Universal and Blumhouse's long-awaited Wolfman movie (now known as Wolf Man) went through a hairy (sorry) phase of production late last year, but cameras officially started rolling back in March, and we now have our first official look at an early promo poster for the film (via FearHQ.com).
The banner was spotted on display at Universal Orlando as part of the park's Halloween Horror Nights takeover. When The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ in 2019, most viewers quickly became enamored with the Yodi-like Grogu. The title character could have become an afterthought, but the man behind the mask helped infuse Din Djarin with quiet charisma and heroic stoicism. In fact, I remember asking my brother who the actor playing Mando was. “That’s Pedro Pascal! He’s from Narcos.” I looked up the Netflix crime series and it seemed right up my alley.
Fast forward to 2023 and Pascal is on my screen again with the HBO adaptation of The Last of Us. Once again playing a father figure and a hardened fighter, Pascal proved his ability to play a leading role was cemented in carbonite. He was cast as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps for 2025 and by the time he appears in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II at the end of this year,...

As Marvel readies The Fantastic Four for the MCU, it was inevitable that everyone from the earlier movies would be recast. And while Chris Evans has gone on to play a key role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – thus bumping to the top of the list for a Deadpool & Wolverine cameo – that hasn’t been the case for the rest of the team. Fortunately, at least Jessica Alba is taking it in good stride, even lending words of wisdom to Vanessa Kirby, who will take over Invisible Woman aka Sue Storm in next year’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Jessica Alba – who played Invisible Woman in both 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Rise of the Silver Surfer – recently stated that she thinks Vanessa Kirby should embrace the wide fandom of the characters, saying, “I think [the advice is to] just have fun. The fans are so amazing.” She added, “It was probably one...

Work continues on The Fantastic Four: First Steps set in England and it appears the alternate reality Times Square has finally been completed.
As you can see in the newly revealed photos and videos below, signage has been added to the buildings along with a giant TV screen and well over a dozen '60s-style vehicles. However, both they and everything else we see have an interesting retro-futuristic spin on them.
That's because the reboot doesn't just take place in the 1960s, but in a world far more advanced than our own which appears to have benefited massively from Mister Fantastic's genius.
We'd imagine the cast will soon start shooting on this massive set, though it remains to be seen whether we'll get any photos of footage of Marvel's First Family in action.

Things are going from "pretty bad, guys" to pretty bad guys over in the recently rejuvenated MCU right about now! With Robert Downey Jr. set to get his Victor Von Doom on in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, Ralph Ineson prepping to play planet eater Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and other ne'er-do-wells on their way including the motley crew of Thunderbolts*, Giancarlo Esposito's Captain America: Brave New World supervillain Sidewinder, and the titular witch of Agatha All Along all on Marvel Studios' horizon, Kang the Conqueror is but a distant memory already. And now, per THR's reporting, we're getting news that a familiar robotic foe from the McU's past is readying a villainous return. That's right folks — James Spader's bionic big-bad Ultron is set to make a comeback in WandaVision's as-yet-untitled Vision spin-off series.

There had been rumblings about Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU heading into last month's San Diego Comic-Con, but none of us expected him to be announced as Doctor Doom in place of Iron Man!
The Oscar-winner first suited up as Tony Stark in 2008 and, five years after bidding farewell to the Armoured Avenger in Avengers: Endgame, he'll transform into one of the Marvel Universe's greatest villains in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
We completely understand why the decision to cast Downey as Victor Von Doom has proven somewhat divisive but now have some thoughts on why it's actually a good idea. In fact, we'd say this casting decision is the best one Marvel Studios could have made.
Find out why we think Downey as Doom is the right thing for the Multiverse Saga by clicking the "Next"/"View List" buttons below.
