What a bizarre episode. It starts with some guy being murdered 17 years earlier. A local kid thinks he is that guy, and knows where the body is buried. His Mom (played by Amy Pietz) pretends to be mystified.
Allison gets her dreams all wrong, and thinks the kid is the murderer. It turns out that the kid's real father is the guy that got murdered 17 years ago. Why does the kid think he is the murdered guy? That twist is sick and disturbing, and it is thanks to his real father, played by Joe Manganniello. The ghostly tricks in this episode are just wrong, and bad.
The kid has no clue that his real father is Joe Manganiello. It turns out Mom (Amy Pietz) had his father killed. Later she killed Earl, (Lorin McCraley) the killer who was blackmailing her for 17 years. Seems like a long time to wait to end it.
Meanwhile melon-head, the obnoxious middle girl is filming neighbors falling down, and posting the videos on the internet. Not sure why her parents did not take away her camera and her access to the internet.
The older drama diva daughter is in love with the kid who is the murder suspect, and that leads to more angst and anger between the Medium (Patricia Arquette) and her bratty kid.
