After watching the director's previous film Kill Her Goats and seeing that this was his follow up released within the same year, only several months later. Expected roughly more of the same but an improvement. Both films are about similar in quality as they aren't very good and are obvious flaws. The characters acting isn't strong and there are flaws in the written portion. For instance these characters are meant to be friends but very easily and quickly betray one another and it made it seem like they weren't really close in the first place.
A majority of the film takes place with these seven friends locked in a house together while there is a mysterious orange fog outside. They all seem to think this fog is poisonous or harmful but don't explain why. Of course in its finale the lead innocent girl because psycho and starts killing each person unprovoked one by one. Throughout this occurrence, there wasn't any build up suspense. Everything simply felt obvious. And the end twist wasn't anything great or clever.
