Into the Storm (2014)
Such a waste of time
One of the most disappointing and silly movies have seen lately. I mean Twister from 1996 was 100 times better than this thing called movie. Bad characters, bad actors, nonsense action ( like the moment when all the characters getting out from the specially design storm car to enter some bank after they parked like 500 meters away and everybody filming the coming tornado with their cellphone, the characters getting out of the bus to see if 2 people from some car were all right and too many others to count) No offense but this movie was like being filmed and designed for morons. If this movie had only the tornado and not those silly characters it would have been worth your time. So don't spend your time!
Forces spéciales (2011)
A very pleasant surprise
Although I had had this movie for a long time, there was something about it that wasn't inviting me to watch it. I love war movies but I have to be in the right mood to watch one. Well, let me tell you that this was a very pleasant surprise and a much better film that I was expecting. The story line wasn't anything special ( a fierce reporter that was kidnapped and rescued after that by some brave soldiers -the special forces- who kept on running ever since ) but the acting was truly excellent and the film just keeps you hooked till the very last minute. In the end it is a movie about the human relationships during the war, about friendship and solidarity, about fighting for survival, about trust and hope. It is definitely worth watching it and be impressed by it the way that I was.
Taewang sasingi (2007)
A masterpiece
I have just discovered this TV show and I just couldn't stop watching it till the end. It is a true epic masterpiece that has you completely fascinated. It has everything one may need in watching this kind of series: both funny and sad moments, amazing fighting scenes, great actors, amazing script, mythology, friendship and true love. And the soundtrack is also exceptional. I just wished that I could see more of Damdeok and Sujini in the last part of the series, and I think this is one of the rare times I cried at the end and also every other time I re watched the episodes. Because the truth is that this is one of those shows that you can watch over and over again, never get tired of it and still watch it every time like it is your first time. Absolutely amazing masterpiece. It is worth watching again and again and again and again.
Castle (2009)
Great great show!
It has been a while since I find a TV show so interesting. I love crime and mysteries series but most of them have something dark and depressing about them. This show is different. We always have a crime but wrapped up around it there is also lots of fun. And solving it proves to be both exciting and hilarious. What I love most about this show is the interaction between the characters. I is truly amazing. I mean they have this chemistry and they complement each other absolutely perfectly. Each episode turns to have some twist in the end completely unexpected and everything fits at that moment. Absolutely genius! It is a show truly worth watching.
Seven Pounds (2008)
Magnificent and heartbreaking
I saw this movie at least 5 times and every time it surprise me and touches me like the first time. And every time I I wondering how anyone could conceive such a perfect movie. The main idea of this movie is so simple yet so amazingly expressed by the directors and producers and through the characters. Will Smith's acting is just perfect. I think that he is the most complex actor alive. No one could be more perfect than him for this role. His character is complex, strange but a true hero. This is definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen and I recommend it to everyone. This movie has kept alive my hope that there could still be people on this planet that want and can to make up for the bad things they caused in other's people lives. Definitely worth seeing!
Blood Ties (2007)
Amazing show
Even if I came across this show by purely accident I became hooked. It is an amazing show. The actors are amazing, and their characters are so so interesting. I love the mystery, the characters and their personalities so different and yet so complementary in the same time. The show has a bit of everything in it: mystery, drama, romance. I truly loved it. Christina Cox is just perfect for this role and Vicky's relation with Henry is fascinating. I love their growing attraction and Vicky's balance regarding this relationship. Every episode leaves us with wanting for more. I just wished there were more than 2 seasons, because I just can't get enough of it.It is really worth watching.
Wildfire (2005)
I truly loved the show
At 30 years old, I have seen many TV shows and I have become quite a critic. I discovered Wildfire only 2 weeks ago and truthfully I have become a addict since then. It is an amazing show, entertaining, with great characters and let's face it some very good actors. I also love the horses, Wildfire being of course my favorite. I love the relationships formed in the show and the chemistry between the characters. I especially love the message of the show: a girl, with problems in the past, changes because her love for one amazing horse - who is as problematic as she is - and gets a second chance in life to become a great jockey. And she really does a great job. It is all about the love for animals, for nature, how people can change if they have a second chance, and how people who are meant for each other finally end together. I was a fan of Kris and Junior and I loved how this characters practically grew up as individuals and as a couple. I cried at the end of the show when everybody ended up happy and I think the writers really did a great job with that final episode. I know it was just a TV show but it definitely made my life more beautiful while watching it. And I am definitely going to watch it again and that is why I recommend it to all categories of people, both young or adults. You have something to learn from this show and you will surely love it as I did.
