The Hollywood Knights (1980)
Not the best, not the worst
It definitely has funny parts, but the funny parts and the serious parts seem like two different movies. I wish the love story between Michelle Pfeiffer and Tony Danza's characters were shown much more, and also the mechanic guys, and the young guy going to war, those were good parts. The funny parts were okay, but went too far sometimes. The cops made me laugh some with their language, calling the young punks "buttholes" made me laugh out loud! But the pranks on the cops went too far, especially the bathroom scene. Just my opinion, but I do like a good laugh, so definitely am not opposed to that.
Pam & Tommy (2022)
Good but overboard at times
I enjoyed the show, I love these kinds of shows but they went overboard with some stuff such as Tommy Lee talking to his penis. I was like really... but I think they did well on the acting and portraying of Pam and Tommy.
Rebecca (2020)
Oh no.
Not near as good as the book or the 1940s version. I love Lily James but honestly didn't like her in this role. The plot was rushed and if you aren't familiar with the story you might get confused and bored.
Baby Driver (2017)
I wish it was better.
I was disappointed because I heard that the movie has a great soundtrack but I wasn't impressed with most of the song choices. Also it was pretty cheesy in some areas. The story lacked in many areas. It just was a bit disappointing. I didn't hate it but didn't love it.
The Phantom of Crestwood (1932)
Rushed
The movie seemed rushed and seemed to jumble together. But I did like the mystery aspect and the dark stormy night at the mysterious mansion.
The Evil Dead (1981)
Gross
This movie is so gross haha. I'm a horror movie fan but this movie lacked so much and the possessions were disgusting. I know they must truly be that way but yikes, made my stomach sick.
Dolittle (2020)
Could've been better
It had a lot of potential. I wish they would have focused more on his relationships with the animals.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
Very inspiring
Great movie to help us have the right perspective on life. Tom Hanks was excellent
Alex & Emma (2003)
Bland
Just another bland chick flick. Blah. Got about 30 minutes in and couldn't stand how boring it is. I'm not the biggest Luke Wilson fan anyway.
Moulin Rouge! (2001)
Not my cup of tea
I don't like the acting of Nicole Kidman in this. The movie is very over the top. I'm sure it's supposed to be but it's just not my type of movie. I really like musicals and such, but the pace of the movie and the way it is filmed is just not what I like to watch. I got about 25 minutes into it each time I've tried to watch it haha. I give it three because of the costumes and music.
Kate & Leopold (2001)
Bored
I got about 40 minutes in and just found myself bored. It just drags a lot. I couldn't imagine watching 2 hours of it.
Spring Breakers (2012)
Boring
This movie was boring. I didn't even watch it completely. I gave up on it 30 minutes in and fast forwarded the rest mainly. I felt I was mainly watching people party and that's about it, not a lot of story.
Harriet (2019)
Powerful
Maybe some of the story in the movie isn't exactly what happened, but who cares! The movie is still very powerful and shows the incredible strength of the human spirit.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958)
Good but different
I think the movie was done pretty well, but it's a very different kind of movie. It's pretty dramatic, which I don't mind at all. But sometimes drama in those years were done a bit much.
Rebel Without a Cause (1955)
Very different
Such a different kind of movie. I was entertained. But I didn't love it. The teenagers didn't seem to be in the right mindset. They had a lot of issues...
It Chapter Two (2019)
Pretty good
I love the story, the characters, the actors. But this movie was longer than it should have been and some of the cgi was hella cheesy lol
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Awesome
This movie is just awesome! I have watched it a few times and always enjoy it.
The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot (2018)
Pretty bad
I have no idea what the point of making this movie was. It was choppy, all over the place, and didn't make sense in some parts. I didn't know what to expect really but it didn't go well with me. The Bigfoot part was awful as well. Just bad.
Ready or Not (2019)
Unique
A very unique kind of horror movie. Had me entertained the whole time and very interesting ending.
Outlander (2014)
Give it a chance!
It took me until episode six to start liking the show, and it just took off from there! It is one of my favorite shows ever now! It is incredible!!! It is important to watch the first five episodes as they pertain to the story, but don't give up!
Please Don't Eat the Daisies (1960)
Okay
Doris Day is lovely but this one isn't one of my favorites
The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019)
Good movie
If you love dogs, like me, definitely a movie you'd enjoy. But it does have its pretty emotional scenes. It is worth watching for sure.
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019)
Good movie
I like the classic feel of the movie, set in the late 1960s and around Halloween time. It's got a good cast, and a good story. It's definitely set up for a sequel which kind of gets old now.
The Firm (1993)
Good movie
A different sort of lawyer movie. I think it's pretty unique. I didn't love it but I liked it. I like the 90s feel of the movie a lot and the scenery in the movie is so pretty.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
It was alright
Not one of his better films. It was kind of meaningless. What was the point of Bruce Lee's character? What was the point of showing Manson for a minute? He didn't even really have a line. I was disappointed overall.
