Synopsis
The infamous villain Victor von Doom is on the loose
The world is witnessing the rise of a new villain in the form of the masked menace, Doctor Doom. Only a team of Earth’s most powerful heroes can defeat the looming danger he represents. Hellbent on destruction only the Fantastic Four and their fellow heroes can save the world from certain peril.

What is Avengers: Doomsday about?
Avengers: Doomsday is an upcoming sci-fi superhero film produced by Marvel Studios. It will be part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and will be the 38th film of the MCU. The movie is produced by Kevin Feige and Louis D'Esposito. Avengers: Doomsday is written by Stephen McFeely, and directed by the Russo Brothers, the directing duo behind Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Who stars in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?
Multiple MCU heroes return to the big screen for a new adventure for Earth's greatest protectors, The Avengers. While the exact line-up remains unconfirmed, fans can expect see the likes of Spider-Man portrayed by Tom Holland, Captain America played by Anthony Mackie, Doctor Strange portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, Thor played by Chris Hemsworth and Hulk played by Mark Ruffalo. Paul Rudd's Ant-Man, Letitia Wright's Black Panther, Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, Evangeline Lily's Wasp and Tom Hiddleston's Loki are all in the running to join the Avengers line-up. The Fantastic Four are confirmed to be featuring in the movie which includes Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Joseph Quinn and Johnny Storm, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Thing. Marvel favorite Robert Downey Jr. stars as the villain of the movie, Victor von Doom.
Is Avengers: Doomsday the same as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?
Avengers: Doomsday was initially titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty but after the dismissal of Jonathan Majors in the role of Kang, Marvel moved away from the Kang storyline and character. With the emergence of the Fantastic Four in the MCU, the studio pushed for a new supervillain to be at the heart of the Avengers movies and opted for the infamous Doctor Doom. Robert Downey Jr., who unforgettably portrayed Iron Man in the MCU for many years, takes on the role of Victor von Doom.
