Children’s Services. 17.11 For Direct Support Professional positions in any Home funded or licensed all or in part under the Children and Family Services Act (or successor legislation) or funded directly by the Children’s Aid Society the Employer will have the right to hire one (1) Worker per child who is not presently a member of the bargaining unit who has a history with the child as their Worker, without the requirement of job posting and whose selection may not be the subject of a grievance by an employee or the Union. Seniority for an employee hired pursuant to this sub-article shall be calculated in accordance with sub-article 17.14.7.

The Consensus Agreement signed on June 4th, 2011 states that there shall be no loss of current entitlements as a result of accepting the terms of the PDT agreement and where there are current employee entitlements which are superior to those outlined in the PDT agreement, those superior provisions shall prevail and continue into the renewed Collective Agreement, unless mutually agreed locally by the parties. The parties to this Collective Agreement agree that the aforementioned superior provisions obligation had been fulfilled by the terms of the April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 Collective Agreement. This letter of understanding does not form part of the Collective Agreement and shall not be the subject matter of a local collective agreement, grievance or arbitration. This letter of understanding shall remain in full force and effect for the term of this Collective Agreement and shall not automatically renew at the expiry of the April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 Collective Agreement except by express agreement of the parties. Children’s Services a. The Arkansas Department of Health administers the Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant. A separate MOA exists between ADH and DDS delineating coordination and collaboration responsibilities pertaining to the CYSCHN program.
Children’s Services. According to section 15 of the Vulnerable Children Xxx 0000, children’s services include (among other things): • services provided to 1 or more children; and • services to adults in respect of 1or more children. You acknowledge that at a future date, the scope of children's services can be expanded, by regulations. Expansion may include services to adults which could significantly affect the well- being of children in that household.
