Domestic Partner definition

Domestic Partner means an opposite or a same-sex partner who is at least 18 years of age and has met all of the following requirements for at least 6 months:
Domestic Partner means any person who is registered as a domestic partner with the Secretary of State, State of California registry or the registry of the state in which the employee is a resident.
Domestic Partner means any person who has a currently registered domestic partnership with a governmental entity pursuant to state or local law authorizing the registration.

  • For purposes of medical and dental coverages, and for purposes of optional coverages, to the extent possible under the State program for 2002, the registered same-sex domestic partner of an eligible employee, who meets the criteria in the University’s Domestic Partner Registration process, shall be offered the same coverage as an employee’s spouse.

More Definitions of Domestic Partner

Domestic Partner means a domestic partner as defined in section 3 of P.L.2003, c.246 (C.26:8A-3).
Domestic Partner means any person who is registered with his/her employer as (having) a domestic partner, or, in the absence of such employer-provided registry, is registered as a domestic partner with a governmental body pursuant to state or local law authorizing such registration. Any internal employer registry of domestic partnership must comply with criteria for domestic partnerships specified by rule by the Department.
Domestic Partner means a domestic partner as defined in N.J.S.A. 26:8A-3.
Domestic Partner means a member of a domestic partnership consisting of two partners, each of whom has registered with a domestic partner registry in effect in the municipality/governmental entity within which the domestic partner currently resides, or who meets the definition of a domestic partner as defined by the state or local government where the individual currently resides or meets all of the following:
Domestic Partner means an individual joined in a domestic partnership.
Domestic Partner means an unmarried person of the same or opposite sex with whom you share a committed relationship, are jointly responsible for each other's welfare and financial obligations, at least 18 years of age and mentally competent to consent to a contract, not related by blood to a degree that could prohibit legal marriage in the state where you legally reside, maintain the same residence(s) and are not married to or legally separated from anyone else. A Domestic Partner certification must be completed and filed with the Sponsor before the partner can be designated as an Eligible Survivor.
Domestic Partner means a person with whom another person maintains a household and an intimate relationship, other than a person to whom he or she is legally married. See Rules 2.11, 2.13, 3.13, and 3.14.
