5E's Chief Strategy Officer, J.T. Starzecki, participated in an industry roundtable with the Congressional Offshore Wind Caucus last week. Taking place inside the Capitol, J.T. spoke with members of Congress about 5E's project in southern California and the criticality of boron derivatives for permanent magnets and blades used in offshore wind turbines. We applaud the Caucus and its co-chairs, Congressman Salud Carbajal, Anthony D'Esposito, Bobby Scott, Nick LaLota, Jimmy Panetta, and Deborah Ross, for prioritizing a discussion on the materials needed to secure our energy supply chains. In addition, it was wonderful to speak more with John Garamendi following a discussion with the Congressman the day prior on 5E's progress and boron's criticality to our national security. We look forward to continuing to work with the Caucus on scaling a domestic supply chain to meet the demand from the US wind industry.
