Celebrating the Creation Zoo being open to our guests! So many teams worked on this project to deliver a great product! Trying take sometime to celebrate what has been accomplished before moving on to getting the rest of the zoo open. Walkabout and stage coming later this fall!

I never cease to be amazed at the talent God has brought to the Answers in Genesis ministry. Take for instance the staff in our design and fabrication studios where so many talented people build the various exhibits and other items for our two attractions, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This is a behind-the-scenes look at the large CNC machine at our fabrication shops. Josiah is busy cutting out parts for the new cabinets for the POS machines which will be installed inside Emzara’s Buffet at the Ark Encounter. Meet Sarah Bryhn! Sarah is a social media video technician who works in the marketing department here at Answers in Genesis. She’s worked here for around two years, and her favorite parts of her job are editing social issues content for Instagram and Youtube, strategizing what content will work for social media, and filming at the attractions—the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! Sarah has grown in both her skill at working on a team and her skills as a videographer through this position. Sarah’s advice to anyone considering working at Answers in Genesis is to keep being flexible. She says, “We strive to be faithful stewards of all that is entrusted to us and do the most with the talents God gives us, understanding that plans are likely to change.” We are currently hiring! Our artist team has been making great progress on the rapid burial exhibit that will be installed in the Starting Points room in the Creation Museum. Over the past few weeks, the team has been focusing on the very detailed work of painting the Protoceratops dinosaurs. Our artists believe these will be the most detailed such models of this particular dinosaur in the world. This is going to be a stunning exhibit and a spectacular addition for the Creation Museum. It will be installed in the next few weeks. Look at the detail in the sculptures. I never ceased to be amazed at the God-given talents of our designers. Do you have a 3D printer at your home or work? At the Answers in Genesis design studios, where exhibits for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are built, we have many 3D printers. However, our talented design team has just added a bank of 100 3D printers that will be used in building the thousands of houses and other buildings for the massive indoor scale model of 1st century Jerusalem that is currently under construction. The last image shows a rendering of this model that will be in three large sections totaling around 2,000 sq ft. This model will be exhibited in the Jerusalem building currently under construction at the Ark Encounter. Because the model is so large, and there are thousands of buildings to be made, along with 15,000 people to scale and thousands of plants etc., this exhibit won't be open until 2026. It will be a spectacular addition to the Ark Encounter themed attraction.

The Eden Zoo renovation is getting so close to the finish line. All the signage is proofed and ready to print, the animals are mostly acquired, murals are ready to be painted, fencing is going in….so many teams are working on this project. It’s going to be amazing when it opens this summer! We still have some openings for zookeepers at the Eden Zoo at the Creation Museum. We had the staff picnic for the hundreds of Answers in Genesis employees and their families Sunday afternoon. In addition to the Highland games that teams participated in during the event, there was also a baking contest, bounce houses for the kids, great food, and great fellowship. We love our AiG staff and families!

For those who would love to work in a Christian organization like Answers in Genesis, Ark Encounter, and Creation Museum, we will soon be opening up times for interviews for seasonal positions. These will take place in June for both the Ark and Creation Museum. This is a great opportunity for people like college students (and others) to take a summer job.
