Dr. Justin Perez, board-certified plastic surgeon and Medical Director of Marina Plastic Surgery by Athenix, was entrusted by Shanna Moakler to repair her inverted nipple, a 30-minute procedure that she waited 19 years to get. The former Miss USA and ex-wife to celebrity Travis Barker opened up to Page Six about how her inverted nipple hurt her sex life due to low self-esteem issues. The mother of three noticed the chance in her breast after having her second child. From choosing what to wear to getting intimate with your partner, a minor concern like this can strongly impact someone’s self esteem. “I’m thrilled that I got to work with Dr. Perez for the sheer fact he was so open and honest about the entire procedure. One of the reasons why I went to him is because he does a more modern technique so when they still want to breast-feed they can still absolutely do that,” Moakler said.
