We look forward to welcoming a class of interns to Celldex each summer. Their mentors are able to provide hands-on experience and real-time feedback to help them grow in their area of interest, from biology to human resources. Meet more of our summer 2024 interns below! 

We are thrilled to congratulate Dr. Marcus Maurer on his recognition from the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology - EAACI on his oral presentation of data from the Phase 2 clinical trial of barzolvolimab in chronic spontaneous #urticaria (CSU) at #EAACI2024. We are grateful for Dr. Maurer's continued support and advocacy for new, improved treatment options for those living with life-altering conditions like CSU.

Team members in our Hampton, NJ and Fall River, MA offices have been enjoying the summer weather during office events lately! We had our annual summer BBQ in Hampton, and got busy making homemade pizzas (pizza oven and all!) by the water in Fall River. 🍕

At Celldex, introducing career paths in #STEM and other areas to the next generation is a priority to our team. In addition to local high school programs, each summer, we welcome college interns to our offices across all departments, where they have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in their areas of interest. Our Wellness Committee recently hosted "Blind Date with a Book," where team members picked a surprise book based solely on genre and a few clues. We had a great time expanding our reading horizons. Check out some of our selections below! 

We are pleased to present data demonstrating that barzolvolimab profoundly improves #angioedema at 12 weeks in the Phase 2 clinical trial in chronic spontaneous #urticaria (CSU). Angioedema is characterized by swelling of the deeper dermal layers of the skin and mucous membranes and is a painful, debilitating symptom of CSU that has a significant impact on quality of life. The data were presented this weekend by Dr. Marcus Maurer, Professor of Dermatology and Allergy at Charité - University Medicine Berlin at #EAACI2024. Full details here. https://lnkd.in/evv464V5

Members of our Fall River team recently ran a local 5K together as part of our Wellness Committee's summer programming! Despite the clouds, we enjoyed amazing views of Gooseberry Island and Horseneck Beach, and had a great time running with coworkers. 

We are pleased to announce the first patient has been dosed in the Phase 2 clinical trial of barzolvolimab in #prurigonodularis (PN). PN is a chronic skin disease that causes hard, intensely itchy lumps/nodules to form on the skin. The itching can be intense causing people to scratch themselves to the point of bleeding or pain, which can form lesions and perpetuate the disease cycle.
