Point cloud management, integrated BIM workflows, collaboration, innovative 3D visualisation for laser scans.
About us
If you use 3D terrestrial, mobile, or drone laser scanners to manage your company's assets and Digital Twins, Cintoo will help you navigate your massive laser scan data. Cintoo transforms each of your laser scans into a high-resolution 3D mesh, which is 10 to 20 times smaller in size than the source point cloud, with no compromise to accuracy. Once your mesh is in the cloud, the data then becomes collaborative, shareable and distributable via a simple WebGL browser such as Google Chrome for your BIM or Digital Twin workflows. Organize scans into work-logic zones with access right management, and enrich scan data with measurements, notes, private notes, issues or heat maps to enable collaboration on a one-to-one or one-to-many basis for enhanced engagement and time savings. Integrated scan-versus-BIM model or scan-versus-scan comparison tools help you assess the BIM model or Digital Twin’s accuracy and completeness, and perform field verification and progress monitoring during construction. Those issues detected in Cintoo can then be pushed to your BIM coordination platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Build, BIM Track or Procore, or exported in PDF or BCF files. Cintoo can inversely transform the 3D mesh back into the source point cloud format with no compromise on accuracy for distribution to your team members or contractors, who can then use it in CAD software such as Autodesk Revit or Navisworks. You can create your own crops and download them in point cloud or mesh format for desktop-based modelling (scan-to-BIM) or clash detection. Cintoo is the platform of choice to make the best use of your laser scanning investment and to improve collaboration between your team members, contractors and customers.

Cintoo Cloud
Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software
Cintoo bridges the gap between Reality Capture and BIM as well as Digital Twin applications. For companies working in AEC & Industry 4.0, Cintoo offers a cloud-based SaaS solution to manage 3D scanned data collected from the built environment. Cintoo is agnostic to any scanning hardware and supports static & mobile laser scan data, drone data & 360 panoramic images. Cintoo’s solution is browser-based allowing any expert or non-expert access to high resolution 3D scans and models from anywhere at any time. Cintoo uses a unique point cloud-to-mesh engine that does not compromise on scan accuracy and density while navigating the scans. Scans can be downloaded from the cloud and distributed in mesh or in their source point cloud format. It is connected to Autodesk BIM 360, BIM Track and Procore to enable QA/QC and issue tracking workflows when you need to compare your as-builds to your designs. Our new Teleport camera offers a way for experts and non-experts alike to navigate point clouds.

Adam Box and Kris Atkinson are at Future Oil & Gas in Aberdeen! 😎 Kris was able to participate in the panel: “Making digital twins sustainable in driving business change and digital transformation" where he said, "Having access to the digital twin, access to information, will improve health and safety and sustainability.” Right now, we're seeing conversations around unpacking #digitaltwins, the future of AI in industry and sustainability efforts through increased digitization. Should make for an interesting week! Stop by and say hi to these guys if you can. 😁 For more info, contact [email protected]! #industry40 #digitaltwins #realitycapture #digitization

What happens when your automotive production line and site facility needs quick equipment replacements and renovated layouts? 👇 For John Brown at General Motors, it starts with collecting valuable point cloud data of the as-installed conditions. The huge sets of data then get uploaded to Cintoo for scan-to-mesh conversion. "Cintoo for us has really democratized point cloud data so that it becomes the deliverable standard. Our engineers are leveraging these data sets regardless of what region they're in," John says. 📈 Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/geKMRAUv Connect with us further by contacting [email protected] today! 😁 #automotive #realitycapture #laserscanning #3dmodel #industry40

What kinds of challenges are you facing in your workflows today? 🤔 Madeline Medensky sat down with Joao-Carlos PEREIRA FIALHO to talk about some of the challenges AEC professionals face and how a Visual Twin solution helps not only resolve issues, but also eliminate them before they even occur. What can you do if you have huge sets of reality capture data? Or if your design and build projects are reaching over budget? How do you mitigate pressure from external stakeholders that want the best delivery possible in the shortest amount of time? We get into all of this in this clip, but for the full conversation, watch it here: https://lnkd.in/ge9xjECC #realitycapture #laserscanning #visualtwin #aec

Want to see something cool? In early May this year, Matthew Stachoni attended the VOLTERRA-DETROIT FOUNDATION's Digital Preservation Workshop which explored the repairment of a medieval wall collapse at Porta e Fonti di San Felice in Volterra, Italy. 🌍 Reality capture solutions provided scan data which was uploaded in Cintoo for complete 3D visualization, processed in point cloud form and converted to a 3D mesh using Cintoo's TurboMesh engine. 📈 The medieval wall collapse proves use cases for historical preservation that extend beyond repairment. Historical preservation means finding new ways to visualize existing structures while conserving as much of the site as one can, and Cintoo helps make the most of important scan data for better repairment and preservation. An excellent Cintoo workshop with our global customer, TotalEnergies at the headquarters of their Geospatial team in Pau, South West France. A big thank you to Arnaud VIDAL, Simon Olivé and Benoit Ray for organising the TotalEnergies-Cintoo workshop, and also for the great dinner we had together in Pau! One of the most exciting things about my job is to go and see how our customers are using the Cintoo platform to manage their 3D data in really innovative new ways. TotalEnergies are one of the leaders in 3D scanning strategy and methods and have deployed Cintoo to manage the 3D scan and model data for many of their upstream, midstream and downstream exploration, production and refinery assets around the world. What we learned during our 2-day workshop is that the visualisation component Cintoo brings to TotalEnergies' digital twin is important for TotalEnergies. Managing highly accurate point cloud data is a critical part of TTE’s geospatial strategy and being able to plug Cintoo in to other key digital twin data platforms (P&ID, GIS, IoT, Documentation) via api and integrations is what TotalEnergies needs. The TotalEnergies workshop also included a session where BP presented how they are using Cintoo in their own 3D scanning and asset management projects. This provided some great discussions, to compare and contrast 3D scanning workflows and the different approaches of two of the world's largest O&G operators. We hosted a Cintoo workshop for BP in London the week before, where TotalEnergies presented their workflows to BP users: https://lnkd.in/eUCKrfcj. Cintoo was really happy to help facilitate these discussions between TotalEnergies and BP around how 3D data. To repeat again soon!
