Join us for a public hearing at the San Marcos City Council meeting on Monday, August 5 at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins St. The hearing will discuss the use of approximately $766,063 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for housing, social services, public facilities, infrastructure, and project selection for the 2024-2025 CDBG Action Plan. 🛴💨 Effective July 1, 2024, a six-month pilot program enhanced the SPIN Electric Scooter service in San Marcos. The pilot program introduces an expanded service area to the east side of IH-35, with new deployment zones along Aquarena Springs Drive and Uhland Road. Also, the scooters are available for rent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering greater flexibility and convenience to residents and visitors of San Marcos.
