    The City of Cupertino has a wonderful part-time opportunity for a creative communication professional who will enjoy being responsible for citywide communication efforts. We are looking for a creative communicator with superior writing and visual communications skills who thrives in a team-based, fast-paced environment. Positioned within the City Manager’s Office, the Citywide Communications and Marketing Coordinator will be an important member of an innovative, collaborative and dynamic team and will play a pivotal role in executing our communication strategies. This position will lead, plan and organize public communications activities and operations such as community relations, Sister and Friendship Cities, internal communications, and social media programs, as well as promote City’s brand by establishing messages, themes, and style across different projects.     Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community at our annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony! The Progress Pride flag will remain up for the rest of June in honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Special thank you to our elected officials and speakers, including Cupertino City Councilmembers, Sera Fernando from the Santa Clara County Office of LGBTQ Affairs, Patrick Ahrens from the Office of Assemblymember Evan Low, Chris Acosta from the Office of Representative Ro Khanna, and Phuong Nguyen from the Office of Senator Dave Cortese. And thank you to our resource tabling partners, Cupertino Library, Q Corner Program of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services, Bill Wilson Center, and the LGBTQ Youth Space.     The City of Cupertino is looking for a motivated engineer to join the Transportation Division within the Public Works Department. The Transportation Division oversees the traffic operations, traffic studies, and transportation planning to safely and efficiently manage all modes of travel within the City’s street and trail network. This team member will fill a key role in supporting these efforts, as well as supporting the efforts of the Capital Improvement Program Division to deliver transportation capital projects. The position provides an opportunity for professional growth and to make a real impact in enhancing the transportation mobility of a vibrant community.
