Meet Activities Leader Bridget Griffin! Bridget has a unique story and connection to River Oaks Healthcare Center as she was previously a resident and discharged home earlier this year. During her stay, she enjoyed helping the activities team and joked about joining them professionally after she was discharged. Sure enough, Bridget did join our team and is doing exceptionally well in her role! What she loves most about her job is being able to interact with residents and making a difference in their lives. River Oaks Healthcare Center's therapy team celebrated the 4th of July with cupcake decorating, crafts, glitter tattoos and watermelon! Occupational therapy worked on fine motor skills while speech therapy focused on attention, problem solving and reminiscing. Physical therapy used a beach ball and corn hole to address strength, balance and coordination. Everyone had a blast while participating in this productive and functional group therapy session! Executive Director Drew even popped in for a visit and photo. 😊

Congratulations to Chardon Healthcare Center's 2nd Quarter Care Champion, Jonathan Mosley, PTA! He always encourages residents to give it their all on their journeys to recovery and we are very appreciative of his outstanding work. Thank you, Jonathan!

On this special holiday, we are honored to introduce Taylor, CNA instructor at Charleston Healthcare Center! Taylor has been part of the team since November 2022 and is a lifelong resident of West Virginia. She has served in the state’s Air National Guard for seven years, and is also an aerospace medical technician with the 35th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosives Enhanced Response Force. She loves having the opportunity to serve her country while also serving alongside her colleagues at Charleston Healthcare Center. Taylor hopes to make even a small impact in her community and give back to the people at home and abroad who, in her words, “came before us so we can live freely.” She is a blessing to residents and we are grateful to have her. Thank you for your service, Taylor, and happy Independence Day!

Grande Lake Healthcare Center residents and employees joined the Alzheimer's Association for family night with the Grand Lake Mariners! One of our residents was honored to throw the game's first pitch and received a team-autographed ball. ⚾💜

Our Green Park Senior Living Community team showcased their center's specialties to community members with a focus on senior care. The event was a success and we are grateful for the support from our activities and clinical liaison colleagues!

SouthPointe Healthcare Center kicked off their "Give A Buck" campaign for CommuniCare Cares, our nonprofit organization that extends a helping hand to employees, their families, residents and patients in need. Chantle and Vickie shared information about the campaign and how team members can help make a difference. 💙

Ivy Woods Healthcare Center's night shift team enjoyed a "beat the heat" summer party with hot chicken wings and cold vanilla milkshakes. 🔥

This week, Battlefield Park Healthcare Center celebrated Jasmine Randolph, CNA, for three years of service. Jasmine's dedication to residents shines each and every day. She comes to work with a positive attitude and a love for what she does. We give her our sincerest thanks! 💙 As a reminder to serve from the HEART, the team also had a pink party with copycat pink drinks, pink sunglasses and glow bracelets. And, Admissions Director Beverly Stocks prepared to welcome new residents with baskets that included puzzle books, hygiene products and decks of cards. We appreciate each of these wonderful team members for demonstrating what it means to be #TrueBlue!
