For ESA’s Spirit Week desk decorating competition, our Real Estate Paralegal, Emilierose Dube, chose the theme of Solar Grazing and created an incredibly creative solar farm design.☀️🐑 Her vision expanded beyond her initial sketch, so she reached out to the community for support. The highlight of her design is the integration of Florida Cracker sheep, a breed suggested by a local breeder, emphasizing their suitability for solar grazing. Emilierose's innovative desk design beautifully merges sustainability with local agriculture, showcasing the synergy between solar farms and livestock.🌾 That concludes our summer spirit week!!💙 #SummerSpiritWeek #OfficeFun #CompanyCulture #DeskDecorating #TeamSpirit

Two years ago, AdventHealth Central Florida, teamed up with ESA to focus on environmental sustainability, aiming to improve patient care and acknowledging the important link between a healthy environment and human health.🏥 They aim for a 50% emissions reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2050, focusing on reducing waste and water impact.💧 Senior executives Marisa Farabaugh and Robert Roy lead these efforts, guided by CFO Paul Rathbun and CAO Olesea Azevedo. They have integrated sustainability into their risk management and operational strategies. Deloitte’s, Elizabeth Baca, MD, MPA, discussed AdventHealth's sustainability initiatives with Farabaugh and Roy, highlighting the healthcare sector's role in combating climate change. 🌎 Their strategy includes reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions through renewable energy and energy efficiency, while also addressing Scope 3 emissions in the supply chain by promoting #decarbonization. Investments focus on data-driven approaches, socially responsible projects, and strategic partnerships to manage their carbon footprint. Leadership initiatives include virtual power purchase agreements, solar panel installations, and facility assessments for energy efficiency. For those starting on #sustainability, AdventHealth leaders recommend defining a clear purpose, learning continuously, forming strategic partnerships, and creating a focused plan. They emphasize the importance of taking action and seeking expert guidance.💡 Read more about it from The Wall Street Journal: https://lnkd.in/eyqMMjtb #sustainability #healthcare #esgstrategy

In January, Walmart announced a commitment to nearly 1 gigawatt (GW) of new clean energy projects as part of its energy transformation strategy. ☀️ This initiative includes #communitysolar and distributed generation installations, expected to generate 160,000 MWh annually and provide $8 million in savings for 13,000 households, with $6 million benefiting low-to-moderate income communities. Walmart has also secured renewable energy agreements that will add 842 MW of capacity to the grid and has additional clean energy agreements in Louisiana, Michigan, and Texas, contributing another 77 MW. These efforts align with Walmart's goal to be 100% powered by renewable energy by 2035 and aim to enable 10 GW of new clean energy projects by 2030, powering over 2 million households and supporting a sustainable future.🌍 All companies should take notes!! #CleanEnergy #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Walmart #GreenEnergy #EnergyTransformation #SustainableFuture ‼️Read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/eQS8sCQA

The U.S. solar tax credit market is set to reach $20-$25 billion in 2024, according to a mid-year report by Crux. 📈 This surge is largely driven by the #InflationReductionAct of 2022, which allows solar developers to sell their federal tax credits for cash, significantly accelerating investment in the #solarindustry. Solar projects dominate the market, accounting for 41% of available tax credits, with solar and storage hybrid projects contributing an additional 9%. Crux noted strong pricing and substantial deal sizes, with the average ITC deal at $55 million. The growing market is attracting new participants and becoming more efficient, signaling a bright future for solar energy investment! ☀ ❗Read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/gQTMk_Er

The ESA Team was delighted to participate in the 185th Lenawee County Fair, celebrating "Blue Jeans and Country Dreams."🤠 Congratulations to all the young participants who dedicated their time and effort to raising animals for the livestock sale! Your hard work and commitment were impressive. The fair provided a wonderful opportunity to, support the future of farming in Michigan and appreciate the agricultural heritage that unites us. It was a pleasure to see everyone come together in celebration of shared traditions. Michiganders from the ESA Team, Thomas Banks and Alannah Woodring, are grateful to be part of such a vibrant community. Looking forward to joining next year's festivities!🚜🌾 #SupportLocal #CommunityEngagement #LenaweeCountyFair #Agriculture
