About us
First Community (FCCU) is dedicated to providing the members of the community with sound financial services in a personal and professional manner. First Community is committed to the philosophy of "people-helping-people". FCCU has been in the community for over 68 years, originally serving employees of the Spring Branch Independent School District. In 1988, FCCU expanded membership to include the Greater Houston Area, thereafter adding Fort Bend and Montgomery Counties in the 2000s. In 2021, we expanded to an additional 22 Texas counties bringing us to a total of 25 Texas counties we serve between Houston and Dallas. From our small beginnings to our current $2.2 billion in assets, we pride ourselves on empowering our members to reach their financial goals. First Community continues to lead the way as a high-tech, high-touch credit union with leading digital services including Online and Mobile Banking, contactless cards, a digital card manager and wallets, mobile deposits, cryptocurrency, and more. FCCU also works to ensure our members are backed by the latest in security. This individual will manage and oversee the Compliance program here at FCCU. Qualified candidates will have a minimum five years of compliance experience in banking and credit unions.
