We are happy to share that our AI Research team has won the Silver medal in the 𝗔𝗜 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱 (𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗢) conducted on Kaggle! This audacious challenge required solving 100+ complex mathematical problems using AI. Codenamed "Project Ramanujan," the effort has re-energized the team and solidified their resolve to do more for using AI for the greater good. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗷𝗮𝗻'𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵: 🔸Tool integrated reasoning approach with a 7B model, which uses chain-of-thought rationale followed by program-of-thought 🔸Generating multiple such trajectories to enable majority voting 🔸Learning the distribution of token probabilities of incorrect vs correct reasoning chains to influence majority voting. This approach achieved 98th percentile on the leaderboard. This accomplishment is also our way of honoring Srinivas Ramanujan, the great mathematician. We recently celebrated his 136th birthday and his life journey that exemplifies courage and inspiration. He has had such profound impact on us that we had even called our biggest event on AI, 1729.world, a Guiness World Record winning event, as an ode to Ramanujan. Project Ramanujan will continue to strive harder, building on our previous #AIforGood efforts like Agent Arya, Kalaido.ai, and MarshallGoldsmith.ai to make data science, creativity, and wisdom accessible to all.
