About us
fs3|Hodges is a Small (SBE) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE). As an independent construction consultancy, our goal is to provide our clients with valued insight and decision-making opportunities to facilitate successful project outcomes. We believe that our expertise, experience, and risk-based evaluations of project challenges are key elements to this approach. The foundation of our philosophy is comprehensive, detailed due diligence supported by expert knowledge in the fundamentals of cost, time, quality/scope, and technology. As these factors interrelate, change, and work to influence the successful execution of today’s complex projects, we continually and pro-actively search for better solutions in support of our client’s interest. From this core competency, we develop structured service approaches (either comprehensive plans, or strategic service selections) in the areas of Program, Project, and Construction Management. This is where our experience in management and team building are focused. Our primary experience is in the representation of public entities and select private owners in the following market sectors: Education (K-12 and Higher Ed), Government, Community, Aviation, Infrastructure, and Hospitality. While not a primary focus of the firm, we have on occasion been tasked in areas of litigation support/claims analyses. We look for prime contract and subconsulting opportunities in the US and abroad.

The fs3H team has nearly completed the modernization of the historic Palo Alto Administration Building at Palo Alto Unified School District! A priority of this project was to improve the usability and accessibility of the space for the high school. This included new building systems, the addition of an elevator, and new room layouts with refinished interior spaces. A new roof, fire sprinkler & fire alarm systems were installed and all-gender restrooms were added. The upgraded building now fits the current needs of the school while maintaining and preserving the historic features of the structure. This project will receive a Preservation Award from the Palo Alto Stanford Heritage (PAST) and Palo Alto Historical Association at the 28th Centennial Plaque & Historic Preservation Awards.
