Beginning at 9 a.m., there will be health screenings (cholesterol, glucose, prostate specific antigen – also known as PSA, blood pressure and hearing), breakfast, health education and flu shots. A Urological health seminar by Charles Idom, MD, Joseph Veys, MD, Arif Ali, MD, and Nicholas Galanopoulos, MD, will begin at 9:30 a.m., and physical prostate exams will begin after the seminar. Sumedha Sonde, MD is a Pulmonologist and critical care physician at Hamilton Physician Group-Specialty Care in Dalton, Georgia. Dr. Sonde attended medical school at the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences in Nagara, India. She completed residency training in Anesthesia and Pain Management at B.J Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. She completed additional residency training in Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York.
