Earlier this month, the U.S. Departments of HHS, Labor, and the Treasury released a final rule to amend select provisions of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA). At its core, the final rule expands the scope of the MHPAEA as well as defines the analysis and documentation health plans will need to produce going forward to demonstrate compliance with parity regulations. It’s imperative that plans rapidly assess compliance risk and operational readiness now, in advance of the January 2025 effective date of the policy change. We were incredibly honored to make a difference in our community through this year’s Community Day! An overwhelming turnout of over 120 HealthScapers came together to support two remarkable organizations--Big Shoulders Fund and Mission of Our Lady of the Angels—making a profound impact on our local community. From revitalizing spaces to lending a hand with essential tasks like food packing and gardening, we were privileged to serve alongside these inspiring groups and contribute to their invaluable work. Thank you to all for making a difference in our communities. We look forward to next year’s event!
