With the Fall season officially here we'd like to introduce you to Harvest Moon 🌕 Harvest Moon is a 1-year-old American Bulldog mix with a big head and an even bigger heart! Harvest Moon came to HSMO as a stray earlier this month and his beautiful red coat and amber eyes are definitely a show stopper! Nori made her TV debut and a new friend this morning 💞 Nori, a 2-year-old Border Collie mix made her way down to KSDK news this morning to show off her beautiful face, sweet personality, and of course her tricks to Sydney Stallworth !! Nori came to HSMO back in July while nursing a litter of adorable puppies. While she was raising her pups one of our awesome foster families welcomed Nori and her puppies with open arms. She was an amazing mom and her pups have all found their forever homes! Here's what her foster family had to say about Nori: "She is extremely friendly, and just wants to be with people all the time. She was great with everyone and was very gentle with our 18 month grandson. She was no problem with other dogs while we fostered her and loved running in the backyard with our dog Gus. We walked her often and she did very well on a leash. She has tons of energy and is very smart." Now it's Nori's turn to find her forever home! 🏡 Meet Nori at our Macklind location today!

Prisma came to HSMO back in June from a transport and she is quickly approaching 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣days at HSMO We can't believe she is still here 😞 Prisma is a 3-year-old Pittie mix with truly the sweetest personality. She can be a shy girl, but when she knows you all she wants to do is be with you 💕 Prisma is also available for foster and would love to find a loving foster or forever home! Okay we know it's not his tongue, but check out Charlie's #ToyTuesday ! Charlie is a volunteer favorite pup who loves to play in the pen! This handsome 11-month-old Pittie mix has lots of energy and would love to find an active home that will play all day with him! Fall may have arrived, but with summer temps last week our pups got to enjoy some pool time! 🥽 Marigold had a blast jumping in and out of the pool, which cooled her off in those warm temps! ☀ Marigold is a 7-year-old Chocolate Pittie mix with adorable cream eyebrows and markings This sweet girl is looking for her very own forever home where she can enjoy walks, pool time, and couch time 💕 She would prefer to be the only pup in your life! We're starting off this week with the best news EVER!! Last week's Sammy Star found the home of her dreams! 🤩 Moth, now Birdie, captured the heart of Kelly Jackson!! Their first meeting was love at first sight. Birdie headed straight for Kelly's lap and curled up - she knew this was her person 💖 Now Birdie is forever home and we are so happy for both of them!! Happy Tails, Birdie! 🐾

A whole year of Ziggy in his forever home 💙 Ziggy wanted to share how his first year in his forever home has been going so far: "My name is Ziggy, that's what my new family named me, and it fits me perfectly! I am so glad I found my perfect forever family, they were lost without me. They didn't have a cool kayak, travel or snuggle buddy (which comes in handy for when we're watching a movie!) I'm sure glad I found them. They needed me." Thank you Ziggy for rescuing your forever family, they are so lucky... and I know they would agree 🍀

Everyone in the shelter is getting excited that Tower Grove Pride Festival is only 2 weeks away! 🌈🐾 We are so excited to be celebrating Pride at our booth in @TowerGrovePark Sept. 28 and 29. We'll have shelter pet ambassadors, dog tattoos, and a ball pit for your dogs to enjoy! We can't wait to see you there 💖

Happy #FieldTripFriday ! 🎉 Adoptable Zanny is celebrating a birthday soon and one of our amazing volunteers planned a Field Trip to celebrate! Zanny is one of our shelter staff and volunteer favorites. She is a sweet girl who seems to be often looked over for adoption. To celebrate her next milestone (turning 3 is a big deal!) she got to go for a fun extra long walk around STL! And no birthday celebration is complete without a pup friendly birthday cake! 🍰 Zanny wished for a forever home for her birthday, and we know her wish will come true soon! Cosmo 🤝 #FosterFriday Cosmo has been taking it easy in his foster home while he waits for his forever home 💤 Cosmo has been waiting for his forever home for more than 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ days! This handsome pup came to HSMO as a stray, but was looked over day after day... we knew he deserved a break from the shelter life and as you can tell by this picture he really appreciated that break!
