Over the last week I have received an unprecedented number of emails sharing with me how much those reaching out enjoyed and were impressed with the content of the STM Conference in Washington DC. I am grateful to our Programme Committee Deborah Kahn Todd Carpenter Anita de Waard Erin Foley Patrick Franzen Jayne Marks , and to our Societal Impact Day planners Rachel Martin Dana Compton Leila Jones Gordon MacPherson Sarah Phibbs David Weinreich . You took the challenge I threw out, and delivered beyond what I could have imagined! Our US Conference is an arena to bring together publishers, librarians, researchers, funders and other stakeholders to dig into the big issues together and with mutual respect. We will continue in this spirit as we organise future events. With the April conference behind us, we now turn attention to our Frankfurt conference day, which will see us focused on Advancing Trusted Research in the AI Era.
