The Meritage team had a wonderful time volunteering at Volunteers of America Colorado last week! VOA Colorado offers more than 50 distinct human service programs, and changes the lives of almost 100,000 people in need each year. VOA Colorado programs include include housing and emergency shelters, as well as hunger and nutrition services. Members of the Meritage team were proud to participate in a volunteering day at Project C.U.R.E.'s warehouse here in the #Denver area. Project C.U.R.E.'s mission is to collect donated medical devices - from tiny, specialized surgical tools to large imaging machines and hospital beds - and redistribute them to international markets in need. We sorted through donations, ensured the viability of donated items, and prepared items for shipping.
