  • May Employee of the Month: Madonna Vogt Born and raised in California, Madonna Vogt moved to Saratoga about two years ago when her husband took a job with the Silver Spur Ranch. Madonna joined the team at the North Platte Valley Medical Center just over a year ago and works as the Central Supply Supervisor. “I’m from a hospital setting, I’ve worked in hospitals for the past 20 years,” Madonna said. “It’s my area of expertise.” Madonna’s co-workers nominated her for Employee of the Month, with many of them noting that she is “the epitome of a team player” and how she is always willing to go above and beyond. Madonna is an integral part of our team at NPVMC, and we truly appreciate her hard work, dedication and positive attitude. Congratulations Madonna, on being named NPVMC’s May Employee of the Month! #ruralhealthcare #healthcarejobs #wyoming

  • April Employee of the Month: Kacy Flanagan Originally from Hanna, Wyoming, Kacy began working in Environmental Services/Housekeeping at the North Platte Valley Medical Center in March. It didn’t take long for her positive attitude and strong work ethic to get noticed by her fellow employees who voted for her to be named Employee of the Month. “Kacy is always smiling,” one voter noted – which matches up perfectly with Kacy’s motto: “A smile a day can change a person’s day.” “The atmosphere, the people I meet, the stories I get to hear – I love that part of my job,” Kacy said, when we asked her about her favorite part of work. “Being part of this community is wonderful,” she added. As for the future, Kacy says her goal is to move into a healthcare role where she can help people even more. “I want to be able to help people,” she said. “People helped me when I lost my dad, and I want to pay it forward.” Kacy is an integral part of our team at NPVMC, and we truly appreciate her hard work and attention to detail that goes into Environmental Services. Cleanliness is often the first thing people notice when visiting NPVMC and it’s an important factor in providing great care to the community. We are so appreciative of Kacy’s positivity and hard work. Congratulations Kacy, on being named NPVMC’s April Employee of the Month! #employeeofthemonth #healthcarejobs #ruralhealthcare #hospital #wyoming

  • It is National Volunteer Week, and we cannot begin to tell you how much our volunteers mean to us. We are constantly blown away by the kindness and generosity of community groups and individuals in the Platte Valley. Volunteers consistently go above and beyond to make our extended care residents feel special at the North Platte Valley Medical Center. From donating bird seed, shepherd sticks and feeders to hang outside resident windows, to celebrating holidays and birthdays with residents, to donating non-slip slippers, visiting and spending time with residents, playing music for them, and much, much more. On top of all that, volunteers bring tasty treats to our staff every Thursday to show appreciation, and help direct visitors after hours in the lobby. Our volunteers are AMAZING! To our volunteers - you have truly shown what it means to be a community and surround others with kindness. You inspire us every day, and we cannot tell you enough – THANK YOU! #NationalVolunteerWeek
