Camp Mariposa - Southern Indiana Update! Our focus for the weekend was COMMUNICATION! Studies show that up to 90% of communication is non-verbal, so our activities centered around understanding and sending non-verbal messages. We explored using music to express and cope with feelings, did a twist on regular tie-dye where campers worked in pairs to communicate their emotions, and had fun with the "Exact Instructions" Peanut Butter & Jelly activity. We're excited to welcome the campers back and see how they're incorporating these new skills into their daily lives.

🌈 As we wrap up #PrideMonth, we want to share our final organization spotlight: S.O.U.L. 🌈 S.O.U.L. stands for Support to Overcome, Understand, Live, expanding on our MACRO-B Program to better reach marginalized communities and find real solutions. Our vision includes substance use prevention for all, inclusive support, and promoting racial equality. We still have a lot of work to do and we need your voices!
