The evening was co-host by Rocky Yu of AGI House, Primary Venture Partners, Studio Management, and Shirley Lu. We enjoyed a deep discussion on the future of Generative AI among peers passionate about building in New York City. 🚀 Last night AGI House, Primary Venture Partners, Studio Management & Fidelity Private Shares brought together top AI leaders. My takeaways below: The Founders/ Builders in this room were the positive people I have ever heard speak about AI’s future. Typically you hear AI is taking all our jobs or even worst eventually create end of world doomsday scenario but the legend Rocky Yu led a much different conversation. It these founders are building the ground level to a better and brighter future together. *Maximizing Daily Use* Discussing practical applications of AI in everyday tasks, from Copilot functionalities to The Actual Best Real World Use Cases today: Precise search capabilities compared to Google search, generating Code, personalized vacation planning, image generation (sora), creating health goals, workout nutrition plans, and the innovative AI-driven marketing to create copy and transformation layers. *Empowering Enterprises* involves enhancing executive abilities to interact directly with databases and creating template galleries for various needs, while also recognizing the intrinsic value of data and the importance of skilled developers in driving custom development solutions for digital enterprises. Shelly Palmer *Event Curation* Leveraging GPT for attendees bios and creating recommendations on who you should meet at the expos, summit or happy hours. (I can see this being helpful for VC Startup intros) Johnny Hwin *The Importance to Set Guardrails* Defining boundaries for AI testing. We are seeing VCs asking more about safeguarding against unknown risks. * AI pricing models* reevaluating previous models as moving away from ‘price per seat’ and leaning toward actual usage. *Character AI's impact* helping with engagement rates, and its transformative role in marketing authenticity. *The Dark Art of Navigating Corp Deals* Startup founders need to think about the complex dynamics of securing corporate deals and forging new business relationships to unseats the ‘safe’ choice of going w/ Top 2-3 incumbent AI assistants. *Hardware Integration* Contemplating the role of hardware in the AI stack (wearables) and emerging concepts like gesture recognition and handwriting detection. *Looking Ahead* Emphasizing the responsibility of the future AI builders (in the room) in steering the trajectory of technological advancements towards a positive outcome for society. Working towards AI development to prevent unintended consequences and ensure a path towards a brighter future. Excited to watch these builder innovate and support in any capacity possible.
